My wife's boss just got back from Vietnam. (He was there 1968 to 1969) He said he was treated well. He met a Viet Cong who kicked his rear end (In the year 1968) and they became friends. The Viet Cong will come to visit his home here in Michigan.

Nothing so strange in that, there have been various veterans re-unions from past conflicts, you make out its some kind of miracle!

I dont know if visiting my enemy should be termed vacation in your post
I would go back but the people I cared about were all killed when we had to leave
So I went back to Subic instead WHEEEEEEE now that was a vacation

unless you was involved you will never understand the emotions and magnitude of what its like to go through such an ordeal...then realize that the very person your trying to kill who is trying to kill you....do it for thier country and family...and how the both of you are just alike in so many ways....all you ever wanted was peace / tranquility / justice and love./family security.....and for that you would fight and die for...............humm and that fact makes you almost as one.......what a friendship!!!
