Exactly how many of our allies still have troops in Iraq since most of them have already pulled out?

Did you guys see part of that speech on the news?
I think the poor guy totally got himself laughed at the moment he opened his mouth, LOL. Among many ridiculous comments that were laughed at, he made a total fool of himself when the audience booed and laughed when he made the statement "we have no homosexuals in Iran like you have in your countries."
Granted that for sure, if someone in the audience were to voice an outcry, hurl an insult/epithet/comment, they would be removed from the auditorium by security, what would you say in the middle of that audience right when he's making the speech? As in you actually just stand up and yell it out loud?
I think that I would just stand up and randomly yell out: "Madness? THIS IS SPARTA!!!!!!!" To which the auditorium erupts in laughter and I get myself removed by security.
So what would you do? Would you just sit there and listen to the weirdo or would you break up the monotonous BS that he's preaching about and just do something funny?

so ive been thinking about the airforce for a while now .. my parents are somewhat ok with it and a few of my friends are too .. but most of them think that its a waste if I join, get shipped off, and die. I dont think the same way they do .. to me . .its a very good experience and you get a lot out of it. There may be some happy times and some not soo happy times but in the end you feel proud of yourself for going through with it and accomplishing it. I want to work as a photographer and I was talking to a recruiter and she said she's been with the airforce for a long time and she loved it. She mentioned a job as a photographer for the airforce and maybe thats what I want to do .. the military is a very big step and im not sure whether I want to do that or just go to college and get on with life. Please help me out and give me some input .. it would extremely help if you are with the airforce and has gone through the whole basic training. every detail helps!

My best friend's husband left for Iraq today for 15 months. They had their second child at the end of August and have been married for 5 years. She tries so hard to be strong and I keep telling her she needs to be strong for her children, and pray that he comes home safe. This is their first deployment. After being through a deployment myself with my husband, I know how hard it can be. I try to be there for her whenever I can, but she still breaks down. I feel so bad for her because she is raising two kids on her own, and I feel so helpless. I went over there to lend a shoulder and we just sat there, and cried together. Absence does make the heart grow fonder and she knows this. I just wish there was something else I could do to help ease her pain.

Please, no rude comments. Typing this brings tears to my eyes. I would appreciate honest, thoughtful answers. Thanks!

Recent articles claim that US. Military Snipers, are targeting Iraqies,... after they bait them with items of value. As, "I AM NOT THERE..., and by the way... NEITHER ARE YOU..., how will we ever really know? The media makes their own stories. Allways have, and allways will. The only way to know for sure is to ACTUALLY BE THERE WHEN THESE ACUSATIONS COME TO LIGHT. I am appauled that anyone sitting behind a TV, make these type of accusations about our men & women in the service. There may be some "Bad Apples" out there..., but is it enough to claim that there is a conspiracy in the MILITARY to shoot Iraqies??? I doubt it. They have enough on their plate. I know because I have been in the military and retired a few years ago. You Americans..., should stop looking for ways to hate the military..., and start believing that the Military only do what they are told. They are told what to do by your elected officials. Hence the word.., Military..., orders given, orders followed. Nothing else.

I want to become a pilot. I know I wont be able to fly any of the jets because I have a bad eye-sight. How else would the air-force help me in suceeding my goal. Any recommendations of what else i should do instead of going to the air force, if in case joining the air force wont be any help?

I was watching "The power of ten" and a similar question was asked. The result of their survey showed a very very low percentage agreeing with the concept. I don't think that that reflects very well on America. Does any one out there agree with me?

What kind of stuff should I bring with me? I am not a gamer, but am considering a small mobil laptop if there is internet/wireless available there (I will not be in the "field" per se, I will be in a HQ type office).
Is there anything truly enjoyable in Iraq for a servicemember to enjoy?

I am a high school senior and i am a military fanatic. it is my fourth year in Air Force JROTC i am Cadet Major and my position on staff is Operations Squadron Commander. Meaning i cordinate all events going on this year. Last year i was the PT commander so i am very fit. I have been on our armed drill team for four years. Since freshman year i have been wanting to make a career out of the Air Force as a officer. If i am going to die i want one of 2 things. Either to die of old age with my wife by my side and my children grown to be sucessfull, or to die in my uniform while in battle. so is there a websight with a list of careers to help decide what i want to major in? Thank you

I recently joined the navy. My current job is EM(electrician's mate). I will be 2 classes short from having my BBA in accounting and Financing before I go to basic training, since the school is online, I plan to complete the Bachelor's degree after "A" school.

My questions are, because I wil be really close to having my bachelor's should I change my rating to PS, since it is more related to the degree I will have?

What is the contingent in the rank PS? Are there a lot of people doing these jobs?Would this make me getting rank or OCS harder. If not, would the fact that I have a degree related to the rank stand me out compared to every one else?

If I do not change to PS and maintain EM, will my education officer, when I am assigned a base allow me to finish my degree even though there is nothing to do with electricity?

In case I decide not to follow carreer in the NAVY(I doubt it), would the PS job help me with my BBA in Accouting and Finan

Well, to get to the point, Somebody I work with had a very rare Army magnet stolen off of her husband's truck. It's hard to describe it b/c I only saw it a few times. But what I do know is that it' s a circle, camo background that looks like the new Army uniforms (not the old looking camo), it was about 4 inches tall and 4 inches wide, you can't just buy them anywhere...and that's about all I know about it. I have looked it up on e-Bay, and all over yahoo, and I can't find one that matches the description. I feel awful that some low down person could steal it right off the back of her husband's brand new Dodge 1500. He just got back from Iraq about 11 months ago, and the truck and magnet were a "gift" for him as he got back into the USA. All I know is that he's a "Fuel GI" and I'm not sure what that means, but some of you may know. All I am asking is do you know how to get a magnet that is exactly the same? It would mean the world to his wife if we could find one! PLEASE HELP!!!

When doing PT tests and while training in Basic are you able to do pushups with your fists (as opposed to flat palms)? This would be for a male joining the Army.

Armed Children in Iraq Featured in New Propaganda Video

September 24, 2007 2:42 PM

Maddy Sauer and Rehab El-Buri Report:

Armedchildren_mnA new propaganda video from the al Qaeda-linked Islamic State of Iraq (ISI) features small children with AK-47 assault rifles. The narrator of the video refers to these young boys as the "new generation" of mujahedeen.

In one scene, a small child who appears to be around seven- or eight-years-old is holding an AK-47 and reciting what he says are quotes from the prophet Mohammed. Then a group of small children are seen, each holding an AK-47.

Video: 'New Generation' of Mujahedeen

The narrator is heard over the footage saying, "In conclusion we say to Bush, the Muslim ummah [Muslim community] that you have tried with all your strength to wage war against, is an ummah [community] that will never die. And it has, with the blessings of God, allotted for you a new generation of Mujjahideen."

The video, which was posted online, features the al Furqan logo, the media wing of the ISI. The 20-minute video contains clips of IED explosions and various other scenes that are typical of previously released ISI propaganda videos.
