Well, to get to the point, Somebody I work with had a very rare Army magnet stolen off of her husband's truck. It's hard to describe it b/c I only saw it a few times. But what I do know is that it' s a circle, camo background that looks like the new Army uniforms (not the old looking camo), it was about 4 inches tall and 4 inches wide, you can't just buy them anywhere...and that's about all I know about it. I have looked it up on e-Bay, and all over yahoo, and I can't find one that matches the description. I feel awful that some low down person could steal it right off the back of her husband's brand new Dodge 1500. He just got back from Iraq about 11 months ago, and the truck and magnet were a "gift" for him as he got back into the USA. All I know is that he's a "Fuel GI" and I'm not sure what that means, but some of you may know. All I am asking is do you know how to get a magnet that is exactly the same? It would mean the world to his wife if we could find one! PLEASE HELP!!!

I will look. I hope others do to.

Edit: Kat, I did a search in google for Army Magnets. I came up with thousands of them. Can you get more info about this one? Email me if you like. I'd be proud to help.

dukefenton, fuel truck driving in Iraq IS a combat job. And no combat job is glamorous. Just so you know.

There's no way to find the magnet without an image; but whoever bought it for him the first time would be the best person to ask for leads.

A 'fuel GI' sounds like someone who worked fuel depots to keep the vehicles running; it may not be as glamorous (or dangerous) as actual combat but is no less vital to the operation.

Greetings. Army magnet? off the back of their dodge pick up? if it was a strong magnet then how did they get it off? one that size should have had a hell of a hold. unless the tail gate it was on was not steel and it just fell off when he hit a bump. why would he put a magnet on the back of his pick up in the first place? if it was important to him why put it on his pick up at all? why not have had it in the house or something, especially if it had sentamental value.

Suggest you contact the local Army recruiter. He possibly may know if it is available as part of the recruiting program.

I wouldn't call myself a sucker, but, I am compassionate and I hate to see someone suffering. I am cautious when it comes to who's telling the story, though.

GOD knows where that magnet is. If he can help me to find my glasses and my car keys when I lose them He sure can bring that magnet back.

May God answer our prayers speedily and retrieve that magnet, we pray in Jesus name.

whatsoever you ask in faith believing ye shall receive....
