countries can violate human rights and mistreat their people ie; women and homosexuals, etc only if they dance with USA tunes? Saudi Arabia, Taliban or Mujaheddin of Afghanistan during cold war, Saddam during Iran/Iraq war?

There is a difference when nuclear destruction is a possible outcome. The world of then was competely different then today. We were bi-polar then, now we are on lithium and just mono-polar.

I heard an interesting argument yesterday too. Who is really the lone super-power of the post cold-war, the USA or CNN.

I don't think that the Taliban or Mujaheddin had any american tunes to dance to...

They kinda don't go along with that whole dancing thingie.....

They can do as they please as long as they have something we want.
I don't believe this should be the way of things, but I think that's how it is.
