Discharge- Honorable, Dishonorable, General- other than honorbale, General- other than dishonorable, Bad Conduct, Medical, and Administrative.

Basically you did something good/ bad that warrants a discharge order for your termination of service. Or, in Administrative discharge, you ran into personal problems and the service had to let you go.

Separated simply means you were separated from the service after you were discharged. Example, Administrative separation stems from being Administratively discharged.

Hope that helps!
