This is in response to all these "Thank the Vets" posts! Service Workers, Coal miners, police, city employees people that do all the nasty work, they deserve just as much fanfare.

I have to right a paper on ways to respect, and thank veterans. I need ideas because i have NO idea what to talk about. My whole paper just soundslike giberish.

Also, my begining sentice in a passage from The Decleration of Independence and i feel as if that is too cliche. Do you have any better ideas for an opening sentince?

I just got enrolled in Tricare standard and I am SO confused. I need an ob/gyn for my annual pap smear and because we're trying to get pregnant and can't. I also need to see a doctor about getting an inhaler (i've had them all my life) before winter sets in. How on earth do I do this? I chose a civilian doctor but it just says shes a family practitioner. Surely she doesn't do pap smears? What do I do? Do I call her office and make an appointment? Will it be free? What do I pay? I'm just so lost on all of this and I tried to talk with the people at the tricare office but they basically read me my paperwork (which I didnt understand to begin with!) and when I asked questions REread the paperwork to me!! Ugh. I'm confused. Someone please break it down for me!

My husband decided to go back into the Military. He joined the Army. We have our bills paid up until the end of September but we Don't have any idea how we will pay Octobers bills. I tried to go to Army relief but the gave me a number of reasons why they couldn't help us. My husband won't be fully processed for 30 days then I don't have a id card and no power of attorney. We need 2500 dallors and fast. what do I do?

My husband was given and H3 hearing profile after taking a hearing test a couple of weeks ago. He was then scheduled to take the SPRINT test a week before he was to before his deployment but his deploy date got moved up to the day of the test so he wasn't able to take it. I've heard that the SRINT test is the one that determines whether or not a soldier is deployable or non. and whether or not they need to change their MOS. Is it right that he was shipped before being able to take the second test? We tried to get another appt. before he was to leave but they were all booked. I just want him to be in "good condition" while he is over in Iraq fighting. Should I do anything??

What the F*&#? This is America. New York has a very large Jewish

community. Is this not the biggest insult to them? Here's the guy

that wants to wipe you and your kind off the face of the Earth.....

Oh yah, and he's here as a guest with diplomatic immunity. Am I

dreaming? Is this a bad dream. Iran has been proven to supply our

enemy with weapons and support. He is the reason our troops are

being murdered. He must be arrested and tried in the world court

for war crimes.

What do you think?
