What if someone has been in bootcamp before and has a cell phone and is letting someone that is in training bootcamp for the first time?

Ok.. What if they bought phone card?? They are only able to call their wife or husband once a week.. True or False??

No. They will take everything personal from you except somethings like toothbrush and basic items like that. Everything else will be held for you until you graduate.

No. You can't have contact except letters or special circumstances. This would require approval through the chain of command unless you are in the medical center for health reasons and they allow the call while under the command there.

Not a chance. You'll be fortunate if they let you use the pay phones. Phone time is pretty limited for those 8 weeks.

No cell phones can be used during basic maybe if your have a nice DS you can use them in AIT.

cell phones are not permitted at all during Boot camp/basic training. they will be taken away and locked up for the duration.

ok my son said the prior service guys had them

they were not allowed to share

its so hard to have no communication with them !
Write multiple choice letters they can send back with pre- stamped and addressed envelopes
they are not allowed much time

nope get used to writing letters and get family and friends to write to you it really helps to hear from home.
