I know it is crazy. If we would have sent in 750,000 troops in the begining, we would be talking about how good the Green Bay Packers are going to do this year and not how many men and woman we are going to bring home in bags this year.

None. More significantly, the number-one non-military benchmark will never be reached because event he Iraqi politicians know it would be met with complete rebellion:
The Bush administration wants the Iraqi Parliament to pass a law surrendering two-thirds of Iraq's oil fields to private foreign oil corporations, thus losing control of the country's most valuable and necessary economic resource.**
Obviously a ploy by 'Big Oil' and co-conspirators George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, this 'benchmark' is solid evidence of how this 'war' is - and always has been - about OIL and WAR PROFITEERING. Anyone who believes this insipid 'war' is about bringing democracy to Iraq is just plain ignorant. Anyone who assumes this obscene 'war' is about protecting American borders from 'terrorists' in unknown 'evil empires' is very gullible. Anyone who thinks this insane 'war' is about establishing peace in the Middle East is incredibly naive.
Truth be known, the Bush administration lied to Congress, hoodwinked the American people, and conned our valiant U.S. troops into believing there was honorable purpose for this horrible 'war'. In fact, 675,000 Iraqis and 3,800 U.S. soldiers have sacrificed their lives so that a handful of wealthy elitists, industrialists and power brokers can become wealthier and more powerful. This is the most shameful, immoral act ever perpetrated upon another civilization by the United States of America. Every U.S. citizen should be appalled, ashamed and remorseful over this obscenity!! -RKO- 09/24/07

Probably none, but how many terrorist will be trained to attack Americans this week compared to the number that would be trained if American Soldiers were not fighting them in Iraq. The Iraq people are as useless as most Liberals and like communist, terrorist and liberals they should all be shot or sterilized to prevent the spreed of their evil seed.

It's nice to know you're pulling for them. It's nice to see that freedom, democracy and an end to murderous oppression are high on your list of priorities.
LOL, 'Progressives'. Gotta love 'em.
UPDATE:
a) Betcha a donut that no more than $5 of that money was contributed by you. But thanks for worrying about where my tax money goes. That's terribly un-progressive of you.
b) You obviously have no idea what these folks are going through and the complexities of the situation. You think they're just sitting around all day playing checkers? They're living their lives literally in the cross hairs and you don't think they're motivated?!?!
c) See my initial response. It's still valid.
ROFL, at least I'm 'thining' Lucy. Which is more than I can say for you.

Why is it that dems say if Iraq doesn't want to support its self why should we. But they are more than happy to support the lazy mother of 5 kids with 3 different fathers? We caused the problems in Iraq and now have to clean them up. Did the government get all the welfare mothers pregnant?
--Edit--
You are proving my point even more. You tell Ritch Williams that we should hold them accountable, but why don't you dems hold our welfare scum accountable?

Probably 0, and while that's a bad thing if you expect any benchmarks to be reached so quickly then you are an idiot. The nature of your question already convinces me you are.

uummmmm, maybe....close to......errr.....none.
oh ritchie, no sense of humor? they have already got my son on his third tour, whatever % of my tax dollars goes to iraq, and untold hours spent trying to figure out what the hay we are doing there.
angelus, how does one get to the other. i would rather support an american no matter what they do or don't do, than people who don't care or are trying to kill americans. bush started the whole thing, if you are admitting responsibility as well, i'll chip in for your plane ticket and a bag of almonds.
james, that is what we should have done. i like your style. either that or one big bomb.
ritchie or is that a b at the beginning of your name. i bet it's more than 5 dollars, and if it's 5 cents of MY money then it is too much. i worry more about americans than i do about other countries. sorry. if you are trying to imply that your taxes are more than mine, maybe...get a republican cpa, he'll help you out. all of the stuff that could be done around this country, it's good to see that globalization has found a home in that narrow mind of yours.
