the hundred of thousands of civilians killed in Iraq surely mean that the US led invasion has failed in it's objective to safe gaurd the civilians. I'm sure saddam wouldn't have killed as many if he had been in power.

I hurt my knees in Military Training(im in the ARNG) I have already been to basic but not AIT yet. It was in a RSP drill. I got therapy now done with that before I couldn't stand for over 2 min. Now I can stand for about 15-20 max then my knees start to hurt and swell then I am down for a day or 2 sometimes more and I couldn't run for more than 5 min at a very fast walking paste. Now I can run maybe a mile if my knees are up to it but when I run they swell up really bad the pain comes back and I am down for a couple of days. I will waste the militaries money if they send me to AIT cause I CAN NOT pass my PT test cause of this injury. How do I get discharged its like the ARNG is ignoring my injury. HELP

I want to join, but my friend says I'm a fool for joining during wartime. I dont think it's that big a risk. Numbers are on my side, right? I realize there's ALWAYS the chance, but I think odds are good that I'd be better off for joining, not worse. What do you think?

A 21 yr old kid that was home on leave from the air force was drunk driving and speeding (in his mom's car) and crashed in to my property. He and his passenger fleed the scene of the accident. The police arrested him later that evening after mommy showed up at the crime scene, but that was the last I heard. What will be his punishment from the military? How/will the military find out?

Is this not a typical ghost chasing mission? Why is America struggling to win a war? Is this because there in no identified enemies but ghosts? Has anyone consider the future effect of these killing on the affected and the Americans?

why do i not see many American flags anymore. what does it take to wave a flag, is it to hard to wake up, put a flag up before you go to work, come home and take it down. where are all the yellow ribbons, can you not by some riibon and tie it around your tree. is it to much of a hassle to say a quick prayer, or does life revolve around you. did we loose all hope.
