Soldiers wear a good 70-80lbs of Armor... But does it actually work? If a US Infantry man takes a shot to the chest from an AK47 will it stop the bullet? Are Military Helmets bullet proof? Any information on the actual safety of the Armor that you can give me please fill me in

This chemical kills thousands of people every year. It is found in nuclear power plants, weapons of mass destruction, sewer lines and toxic waste dumps. It is used by terrorists to aid in continuing thier plots against America and her allies. It is also found in lakes, rivers and every ocean on earth. It is even found in the atmosohere. It falls in conjuntion with precipitation and it can burn you, or you could drown in it.
PLEASE help in the fight to bring awareness to this issue before this harmful chemical wreaks more destruction!!!!

we didn't talk for almost two months before he came home from leave. he told me he didnt wanna see me and he wanted to start a new chapter in his life without me. the day he came home (which was saturday) he called me and wanted to see me. so i went and spent the weekend with him. his parents lives an hour and a half away from me. i came home last night. we had plans for him to come to my house for dinner tomorrow and today he told me he thought about us and doesnt want to see me again. he could never be with me. when i asked him if he was coming to dinner he said no, and when i asked him if he wanted to see me again before he left he said "right now, no" WHAT THE HELL.. I don't know what to do? he leaves for iraq after this leave. these could be our last times to see each other if, god forbid, something happens while he's over there. why is he doing this? and what do i do if he calls me again??????

say you want to join the U.S. Airforce and you still have to pay up your store credit cards its around $1300.00 total of all three store credit cards. as well as your phone bill around 300 bucks. you get to the Security Interview point of joinining the Airforce, will they hold you back from many, or little job offers or just not let ya into the Airforce. Or help with that issue? what about if you been drunk before the age 21 one time should u lie & say nope i never drank alcohol.( because ur afraid they won't trust you & fail you in the security interview For The Above reasons. Thanks everyone.

Say a person wants to join the U.S. Airforce. reaches to the point where he/she has to go through the security interview. They do thier job on asking questions such as "Have you ever used Drugs?""Drank Alcohol?" etc.... But the person trying to get into the military tells the Security Interviewer "No I have never used Drugs." when really you did. (twice,mary-jane in other words). Is that a good idea. Its not like they're gonna know. Or find out.... if its been years since you stopped For Good (permanatley of Drug Use) Basically you don't see it as you did them even though you did. you look at it as you tryed them during High School years because you just wanted to know what everybody saw in stupid things such as Weed. So what happens if You say no. i've never did Drugs. It is Legal in Portugal & some parts of the world such as parts in Europe. And remember now you basically tried it not DID it (but in ur mind u know u really did) Plus you don't want them to think they can't trust you because of that

Wow this is crazy! Finally....the voices in America has been heard! We all want to stop the war in Iraq and bring our troops back home safe and sound. The Democrats are doing all they can to bring back our troops and end this stupid war, but unfortunately, our PRESIDENT George W. Bush recently vetoed a supplement bill that was passed by congress to BRING BACK OUR TROOPS SAFETLY AND END THIS WAR!.....Yes, believe it or not...congress passed that bill, but George Bush DENIED it! That means he is denying what the American people want, and even denying the congress. WOW! What kind of a respectable President is that? People voted for him because they thought he was supposed to be here to protect us and serve us. He was supposed to be our "Hero" but instead he is wrongfully using his power.
Did you guys know that we are spending 12 BILLION DOLLARS A MONTH just because of this war??? I mean seriously.....12 billion dollars a month! Do you know how many lives we can save with

Hi All,
Was just wondering if anyone knew if I would be able to get on base to pick my fiance up when his ship comes to port here in san diego. I was in email contact with him but it has stopped as of now. He was going to email me the specifics but with him out of contact I'm not so sure now. This is a new ship finally coming to home port. I would really like to be there to welcome him home so any help or advise would be great. Thanks!!
