husband is in japan.
WE agreed he'd get $200/month.
he keeps overdrafting his checking account.
i told him that overdrafting is something irresponsible children do and if he needs more money, then we need to rethink his monthly allotment, but there's NO reason to overdraft.

i don't know how to get through to him....any advice.
i just need to figure out what's going on!!!
everytime he overdrafts, it's $20 pissed away!!!
uggghhh!!!!!!

thanks!

So maybe some are pro or anti War but why would your political beliefs give you the right to protest against a serving country man ? Maybe its the policies or the Government your against but surely not your own troops ? Doesn't make any sense ! They provide, or actually protect the very freedom you use to protest against them ! and coalition troops. We still have Australians in Afghanistan and Iraq and aslong as the US are there we are there, so why not just support your troops and protest if you must, with your vote !

Hi, I'm planning on joining the Navy after HS, but I still intend to go to college and get a degree perhaps while I'm in the military or after I get out... or a little bit of both? Would there be any advantages to taking the SAT?

Any Advice??

thanks.

Amazing sight seeing it in Sydney Harbour, I saw the USS Missouri out here years ago before it was decomissioned and docked at Pearl Harbour. This seemed equally huge and impressive ! I had a few beers with a few mates of mine and some of the US Sailors here over the weekend, they suprisingly were really cool ! Welcome here anytime in my Opinion.

Ive been with my husband for 11 years but got married last Dec. right before he left for basic. We have 5 yr old and Im 9 months preg.Right before he was deployed he started acting strange.Coming home late at night after work, quit calling me during lunch(which he would call everyday before that) avoiding me and our son, completely stopped talking to me,and would go straight to bed,and not even touch me or want to have sex.I started question him and he said I just didnt understand what he was going through with having to go to Iraq, that I was just crazy.Well he left and I checked his email and there are emails from him to a girl, and her responding. He tells her he misses her like crazy and carries her picture by his heart until he comes back.Shes in the army also.I only know this because he tells her he hopes she is able to deploy so they can be together.says he cant wait to see her beautiful smile and is so lonely without her.I found her cell # and her full name. I need some good advice

I got a email tonight about something interesting.

Its a brand new ship (probably destroyer) which will also serve as a anti-terrorist assault ship.

USS New York

It was built with 24 tons of scrap steel from the World
Trade Center.

It is the fifth in a new class of warship - designed for missions that
include special operations against terrorists. It will carry a crew of 360
sailors and 700 combat-ready Marines to be delivered ashore by helicopters
and assault craft.

Steel from the World Trade Center
was melted down in a foundry in Amite,
LA to cast the ship's bow section.
When it was poured into the molds on Sept 9, 2003, "those big rough
steelworkers treated it with total reverence," recalled Navy Capt. Kevin
Wensing, who was there. "It was a spiritual moment for everybody
there."

Junior Chavers, foundry operations manager, said that when the trade center
steel first arrived, he touched it with his hand and the "hair on my
neck stood up

What kid over the age of 6 wouldn't think -

throw the thing - and run -

Why hasn't anyone ever questioned this

Ok all these people are nuts and we don't need to ask ?

These people built cities and so forth - Maybe not as shiney as ours but cities - They therefore have some brain power

There is somting - now that I think of it that makes no sense at all

The religious notions - ? Would you send your kid to that church ? Remember they love their kids to

There is only one logical answer

Someone is forcing them -

About 4,600 have already died. If how many more get killed will you support a withdrawal from Iraq? 1,000? 5,000? 10,000? 50,000? And don't you dare say that I do not support the troops. I love our soldiers, they are the bravest amongst all Americans.

So just give me a #. I am curious.

Just an idea - War is hell all that - things happen -

Not suggesting that this ever happend but

Could it ?

A person captured or unpopular a leader of an enemy group

The military or a private security firm of mercanaries

Strap a bomb on the captured person and push him or her into the crowd of the oppisite groups and it blows it up and of course kills that person plus the opposite sides people

News flash - Another nut blows themselves up in a failed attempt to kill US soldeirs

It may be the begining of a book I keep meaning to write

Is this a possibility ?

Stifle my curiosity, please.

How long does the application process for the US Military take? Any information about other militaries is welcome.

Personally, I had to wait 9 months to get into the Australian Army, and I'm always curious how other countries do things.

I am currently in the process of starting a civil suit against a man who has been stalking me, harassing me, filing false police reports against me, etc. Part of my case is based on numerous stories about him having been in the Marine Corps and what he did while he was there. I've just found out that he was never in the Marines or in Vietnam as he's frequently claimed and that he's only 48 years old which makes him too young to have been there. My problem is finding proof beyond just a reliable person's word for it. I checked with a few of the military web sites and it looks as though I'll have to fill out a form and mail it in but it'll take forever to get an answer. Is this the only way to go about it? I don't have a SS number but I have his name, birthday and home address.

Judging by what’s happening in Congress and the words coming out of the liberal press, I think the War on Terror is the end of America as a super power and a great force for good in the world. They just have not got the nerve for the fight that was started when they themselves were attacked.

It’s now up to the rest of us to pick up where they left off and finish the fight for them.

It’s a shame because I love the US and its people.

To all the troops, both US and British. Keep going guys you are doing a great job and I am sure most of us our proud of you. I know I am. I am sorry for the mess of the government and the media.

A Britt.
