The badge was designed by Hitler and was awarded to those who fought in the Battle of Coburg in 1922. I would like to sell it, but can't find any prices for those that have sold recently.

The badge is certified as real - not a fake.

there many fake reproduction badges. so you need to prove its real. fakes go for 20 bucks..you must examine the front n back to see if its real. if its real i saw bids on ebay starting at 300bucks.

In my catalog of Orden & Ehrenzeichen 1800-1945 for 2006-2007 by Jörg Nimmergut its listed on page 497 - 498 at 2,900 Euro.

The main problem is very many of these badges and many other Nazi items have been faked, and buyers are constantly being fooled by the repros.

What material is yours made from??

I would advise you to get some research books on iii reich items and see can you find info with regards pictures and measurements of this piece,, if original try not to get ripped off by any "experts" out there
