There's many reasons why suicide bombers do what they do, and I'll start from the top.
Precision. The most accurate weapon is the one that's guided by its user every step of the way. A suicide bomber is the ultimate smart bomb, able to wait for his time to detonate exactly where he means to to inflict as much damage as possible. All of terminal guidance is under operator's control and therefore the run can be aborted, or carried through depending on the situation. And it gives the operator a chance to switch targets in order to hit a more valuable one.
And also from a military standpoint, it's a morale weapon. Anyone could be strapping on a suicide vest. Anybody. You can't be watchful 24/7 for everyone. But seeing someone blow himself up to cause mass casualties is bound to shake your belief system.
There is also an ideological reason. They think they're doing something that's ideologically right, that the central figure of their religion will grant them special favours when they die if they die as martyrs. Can't compete with that, especially with a fanatic or very devout man. Or even worse: a convert.
And there's the power of hte allmighty dollar. A terrorist organization will look after the families of suicide bombers, both with a large cash reward and support after the fact. In places like Iraq or Afghanistan, 50 000 USD can go a lot further than it can in North America or Europe. A suicide bomber dies, but he ensures his family's future at the same time.

The majority of Muslims do not approve of suicide bombing, but I'm sure with the appropriate creative editing and teaching of select parts of the Bible, an ignorant person could be taught to believe that Christ approves of it.
More and more new suicide bombers are recruited at impressionable ages (high school - college aged) and taught re-written and edited fragments of the Kuran, as well as being trained in groups (mob mentality) to become martyrs.
The Kamikazes of WW2 sacrificed their lives in a last-ditch desperate effort to try to inflict mass damage on US troops to defend their country after huge defeats for Japan (and because they were ordered to do so, not all of them were volunteers).
The typical fanatic suicide bomber does so to become a martyr and be granted their harem of women. It wouldn't take too much brainwashing to convince a raging-hormone adolescent virgin boy to do something they think God wants them to do that will take a short amount of time and end in him being granted an eternity of sex with a large group of women.

This is a group of radical "free thinkers" from their relegion. They are extreamists much like the tee totaler christian freaks in this country that feel the need "demonstrate" at military funerals.
Read the Koran and the Bible, they say much the same thing. Just like the teachings of The Budda. The whole point is the interpretation.
When the world stops fighting over Entities, we will realize that we are all fighting over the same ideology from different angles. We as humans are ignorant.

well in some religions they believe that the more people that they take with them the better! And they die to make sure that the job is done! They are willing to die for there country just as our men and women are! And if you think about it like the people that were in the planes that flew them into the towers committed suicide i guess that they could have jumped but going on a plane with a parachute wouldn't that be suspicious??? We also have a few Americans that have done that in war! Not to what they do but instead of taking lives they do it to save them! Like on Ladder 49! Also a guy went to Iraq with my cousin Megan and there were in this palace that they were staying at that they had captured and the next day they went to a place that i don't know what it was but there was an Iraqi force in there so the Americans retreated and the Iraqis ran but one of the Iraqi soldiers threw a grenade in the room that my cousin was in and one of the guys purposely threw himself on it and killed himself to save the rest of them! So i guess that u could apply that as the same sort of concept as that.

of direction not. needless to say there are not a million.5 billion suicide bombers. maximum Muslims are regular people who basically decide for to stay their lives in peace. specific that's a hateful stereotype.

Simple answer - it does not make sense.
They are apparently brainwashed from a very early age to accept this manner of killing innocent people as acceptable and somehow heroic - perhaps in the eyes of their peers, their god or consistent with their religious dogma in some way or other.
Still, to me, it makes no sense.
MacArthur had it right when he said that in war it is not our duty to die for our country, it is our duty to see that the enemy dies for his country. Now that makes sense.

And yet 25% of muslims in the US in the same age category think suicide bombs are honorable.
And how do you account for their self-starring videos, made by them, prior to death, telling the world of their intent?
Strange, huh?
Education does not prevent fanatical insanity.
Just because you cannot understand the logic of the enemy does not mean he does not think that way. The challenge is to figure out what makes him think that way.

They are willing to die for the cause they are told and or feel is right. It's sort of a sign of loyalty, but I wouldn't explode myself...So,I myself don't find it logical. The bombers do,however.

They want to be martyrs. In their eyes - martyrs have all the glory and their "god" will supposedly reward them highly when they go to "heaven" as such. The best way for them to achieve martyrdom is to blow themselves up while taking out as many other people as they can... especially Americans.
