Judging by what’s happening in Congress and the words coming out of the liberal press, I think the War on Terror is the end of America as a super power and a great force for good in the world. They just have not got the nerve for the fight that was started when they themselves were attacked.
It’s now up to the rest of us to pick up where they left off and finish the fight for them.
It’s a shame because I love the US and its people.
To all the troops, both US and British. Keep going guys you are doing a great job and I am sure most of us our proud of you. I know I am. I am sorry for the mess of the government and the media.
A Britt.

Lavadog - I hope you are right. But the moment you start to pull out that will be the signal. They have beaten the great USA. Its going to be a nightmare for the whole world. But most people cant see that yet.

John T - Hey dude. You have my / our support 100%. I live in London and we know they are going to hit us again and again becuase its an easy target. But we are ready for that, we are strong and we can take it. The fight must go on until we crush them back under the rocks from where they came.

This is what they dont understand and i think you Yanks are the same. We are not the Spanish or the French. Everytime they hit us makes us stronger.

satan666 - SORRY MAN. I left you out and of course you are there also. I agree with your history lesson but these are strange new times we live in. This is probably the most important fight in the last 1000 years for all of us. If you think about it, country against country is much easier. This is something else. New rules, new tactics, new game. I don’t think any of our countries have woken up to that fact yet. There can be no peace treaty with these people. We win or we suffer.

By terror attacks could envision two prong event one from outside and one from inside by own types not Wahabi types other extremists of which vids are made about . What to do build a boat and sail to Canada or to South America accompanied by saved wildlife and anyone who wants to come. As to mass migration would recruit many to help with disaster relief make that as profitable as warfare. think of all those juicy contracts disaster relief helicopters all the new potential voters pouring into the U.S A. would suggest a company be sent to Mexico to help in disaster relief there. Might not be such a good idea privitisation or turning it into profit could be seen as a little cold blooded besides UN would likely be handling it still a thought. If fires were also a problem could use converted airforce bombers as a Fire Fighting Squadron .military already has something like this. money in this making more water bombers or converting them and hiring out services. idea would be frowned on though so stick with public run fire fighters.

I haven't forgot the feeling I had on 9/11 .... and I would fight for my country and throw down my life for it. I don't believe George Bush took the right path with Iraq. Regardless of Saddam's madness....he provided stability in that region....everyone in Iraq knew they couldn't blow up mosques because Saddam would wipe out your entire village if he couldn't figure out who carried it out.
We should have only been operating in Afghanistan and wherever Al-Qaeda decided to breed.
America will flourish.....and terror cells will be wiped out more efficiently as our intelligence continues to swing from it's cold war methods. Nobody should ever under estimate how much America loves it's freedom. Japan and Germany did....ask them what happened.
Islam is a good religion....but does need reform just like some forms of Christianity.
Those cave mongers who decided twist up the religion after eating bad humus will lose their grip on the Muslim world. All they have done is recruit those in poverty and blamed the US for their hardships. But even poor folks know that religion should not breed hate.
The text from any religious book written 2000 + years back can help a person lead a healthy life....but cannot considered a road map due the complexity of the modern world.
A true love for all and what every ethnicity brings to the table starts at home with your family. No book can teach that.....

The War onTerror is a nonsense. For decades the Americans supported the IRA when they were killing British soldiers police and civilians. The Irish/Americans raised millions of dollars to buy arms for the IRA and the FBI and CIA knew all about this and did nothing.
The weapon of choice for the IRA was the American Armalite rifle and they got plenty of those.
Any terrorist on the run from the British police who could get to the USA knew they were safe from extradition.
All of this suddenly changed on 9/11 when the Americans got a taste of their own medicine. I wonder why?
The War on Terror is just another of the neverending war scenarios from !984 by George Orwell. You might as well have a War on Drugs or a War on the Weather.

From the Aussie point of view,we are also in this skirmish
with all the other's,to me it sounds as if the British and the
USof A are the only one's doing the work.As for Mr Bush he has proved to the world that he can stand up and be counted. But as far as the US not being a Super Power, that will never happen as with out their knowledge and their help non of us will be secure.Look at the second world war,"If
japan hadn't woken up the sleeping GIANT" where would we all be,and who would be our LEADER.so if you have any doubts on AMERICA being a super power then you need to rethink your history,i am an ex BRIT myself and i was happy to serve my country Australia and did so for 11 yrs.the one leader i have no time for is Mr J HOWARD as he is a sheep.
When the war on terror first came to light, and Mr Blair,Mr Bush & Mr Howard were all at the White house, our "fearless leader" said to Mr Bush-- "We will stand behind you 100%",
i wish he had said that he would have stood beside him 100%,as he is his equal, not his puppet??

No, it is the protection of our right to live in peace and freedom.
Thank you for your support JB.
I'm glad to hear the British resolve has not weakened. I was afraid AQ had played ya like the Spainards, though I had hoped not. Winston Churchills speech still inspires me.
It is truly inspirational to see the that we, Aussies, Brits and Americans still have our grit. Haven't seen the Canadians or Kiwis respond yet, but I've seen all in action and it makes for a great alliance. Together, none can oppose us!
