As long as you are here legally.

From what I have witnessed from alot of other legal residents the were Marines with me priority is given to those who have served in the military if you decide to go through the process of becoming a US Citizen. If in doubt speak to a recruiter

Good luck!

You have to be a LEGAL resident Alien (Have your green card) and have a permenant US residence.

If you meet those and other regular requirements for all US citizens, then you can join.

I have met some foriegn people who were in the navy when my hubby was so I dont see why not you might call your local recruiting office to see. But make sure this is what you want to do. Dont do it just to become a citizen thats not the right reason make sure your doing it because you want to.

Yes.

The person who said you have to be a citizen is misinformed. While it's true you have to be a citizen to do certain jobs, the army has naturalization ceremonies all the time. The most recent one here in Baghdad was on 4 July.

You will have to become a citizen first. You can join though; immigrants from other countries can join too once they become U.S. citizens. You heard wrong though; either though you are an international student, you have to go through the process of becoming a citizen.

Good day.
