There are a lot of WWII ships that cannot be touched. Is there anythink specific that refers to this or is it just understood. (Navigational hazards aside, etc.)

It seems like that is just damaging the environment. The military salvaged other parts of the ship, why not the leaking oil?

Throughout school (in California), I was taught that American and British forces did most of the work in defeating the Germans in World War II (D-Day, etc.), but in fact the bulk of the German army was engaged on the eastern front with the Soviets. Why don't the Soviets get credit for defeating most of the German army?

The US will start suppling the Sunni with weapons and training if they agree to fight Al Queda.
BTW wasn't that what Saddam was doing?

I am an Army wife, my husband is now in Iraq.. I dont buy into the hype, I dont watch the news and I try to keep out of anything that will make me think bad.. So what I am asking is that a friend called me to tell me "what" was going on in Iraq right now and had I heard from my husband, no I have no heard from him.. But she seems to think the Iraq people have started mass violence all over Iraq.. Can you as someone who watchs and fallows what is going on let me know if any of what she said was true please, and please dont call me stupid for not knowing.. It is easier for me not to know everyday and keep glued to the tv.. Thanks everyone in advance..

I have been in DEP for some time now. I am now unemployed and have severe debt. I was suppose to leave last November for bootcamp but they said I need Lasik before hand. I got the lasik and am cleared now but I am in over my head in debt. Now entering in the NAVY, I will be an E3 but that equals out to like 1240 per month that I have to live on. Stating that my credit rating is now a 450, as low as it can go, will going bankrupt affect my going into the NAVY, (Trying for Special Ops Diver). IF so, how and what are my options?

I'm now a high school senior, and I've pursued a variety of medical opportunities throughout my high school career including Health Science Technology courses, Anatomy & Physiology I, etc. I plan to major in nursing, but I want a more exciting, challenging environment than a civilian hospital setting (which I have already experienced in a full year high school course assisting nurses on a variety of units). I'm not sure if I want to do army or navy nursing- what are the differences, benefits, and requirements of both? Is there such a thing as marine nursing?

People keep saying pull out of Iraq, but do you realize how weak their military and police force is? If we pull out do you know how many thousands of innocent people will die? Do you realize that if we pull out, there will be a surge of terrorist attacks all acrosss the world. I think we are doing the right thing.

I want a family, i want a happy ending and forever. But its being pushed aside because of this. We both still have three years in. I cant set aside my feelings to apease an organization i hate working for. Help. Please.

This is complicated. I'm here in Germany, married to a German woman. We have a apartment here and she will continue on living here while I am in the US and out at sea because she has work... and a life here. I understand that housing is usually paid for, but only if you are living in the same housing.

Does anyone know if the rent will be paid here in Germany because that is what's important for now? I have had several differant people tell me several differant things, including recruiters.

My husband and I own a profitable business. I am currently pregnant with our third child. He has been reading about the benefits the guard offers and is now talking about meeting with a recruiter. One benefit that interests him is additional training which he might not take the time to do on his own. Also the medical benefits would be nice, since we are self-employed currently. We don't believe in the war, but he would do what he is told to do if he joined. Are there any huge downfalls to the National Guard?

Help me out here, a couple of months ago the prime minister said that Japanese soldiers never raped any women, they paid for their services! Doesn't he know how to read and see all the documents and pictures!! Have they apologized? So, if they haven't, is ok if we say that we never dropped the A-Bomb in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
