Have the Japanese recognized yet the rape of nanking?

Help me out here, a couple of months ago the prime minister said that Japanese soldiers never raped any women, they paid for their services! Doesn't he know how to read and see all the documents and pictures!! Have they apologized? So, if they haven't, is ok if we say that we never dropped the A-Bomb in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

No and by the looks of it they never intend to or acknowledge the war crimes they commited in Korea, Burma, Philippines, Indo-China on the POWs and civilian populations as well.
