He is the U.S. president but he was also led us into a war that we are slowly losing no matter which way you look at it. Even if we do "win" at what price is it for all the soldiers?

So i guess a seperate question is, what to do with the troops over seas and the ones that are being deployed

How come so many of you Americans often say to ME PERSONALLY: "If it wasn't for us, you'd all be speaking German!" If my grandfather was still alive he'd have a few things to say about that. (and he fought exceptionally hard, and took four bullets in his body too and still managed to survive!) Do you Americans not realise the British fought very hard during that war, and managed to win the Battle of Britain on our own before you lot arrived?

Or, are people who claim Iraq had weapons of mass destruction basing their claims on broad, meaningless definitions and screwed up intelligence?

If the soldiery is trained by the Soviets actions in Chechnya are so bad then why do the very same actions by our troops gain acceptance.
Remember we are talking tactics not politics.
When our spc ops led Northern Afghan troops helped massacre over 4000 Taliban troops by cooking them in semi vans and firing bullets into and burial in mass graves, or torturing people as the Soviets and old Nazi Germany military did , actions we screamed as barbaric for years but now are agreeable too?
Sorry foks but when military training turns from defending a nation into being able to rationalize the deliberate invasion and occupation of a country something has changed.
When your special operations troops no longer care as to why they are doing something and it is just the doing of something that matters something has changed.
Enough BS of a soldier just follows orders, this is not Nazi Germany, those who fought such knew why they were fighting, and it wasn't just to be playing soldiers!

...."we must end the failed policy of Dont Ask Dont Tell."? Wasn't that failed policy her husbands? I am in the military and do not want to have a gay dude checking me out in the shower. If we end that policy, does that mean I can now shower with the females?

Any ignorant hick or s|ut can find Waldo, so why can't the U.S. find the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq...

Or, are there none?

Do I smell conspiracy?

By the way, as a TAXPAYER, I want my money back!!! I paid for the military to go on a wild goose chase to find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and the military didn't produce!!! Refund please!?!?

And, can we use that refund to provide legitimate healthcare for our injured and impaired veterans and to get 20% of our nation's homeless (who are all military veterans) off the streets?

Thanks!!!

I play an otherwise fairly realistic video game in which tanks can be killed by multiple grenades. I find it hard to believe some tiny chunks of metal would make more than a scratch. Can they wreck treads or something?

Someone told me the staff at the hospital on post are rude, is this true? I have a 7 year old girl, is there a lot for her to do there?

If even 1% of them (15,000,000) was "radical" enough to be feared, I would think we'd have more than the occasional suicide bomber in Iraq? How come there is no news of any major battle? It's always either "roadside bomb" or "suicide driver". Do any of them own guns? They can't get two hundred dudes together or what?
