Military - March 2007

How exactly does it work and what are different things that contribute to your 'total'. What do you need to reach the different ranks? For the Army. Thanks.

Right now only the military personnel and their families are at war with Iraq; the rest of us have been asked to contribute nothing. Other wars have brought on victory gardens, war bonds and fuel and food rationing. We get a tax cut this time around. Should we show the military we are willing to sacrafice some incredibly small bit while they are getting killed, or should we just leave the bill to our kids?

ok, they disagree with the war, but to call it Bush's war shows they are NOT supporting our troops and giving hope to the terrorist who are waiting for us to leave...where is the solidarity of supporting the troops if it is labeled as "Bush's war" besides last time i checked it was congress that declared war...

ok i hate the army well that boot camp part, but im thinking of joining(a guy keeps calling and telling me to join)plus they help paying 4 school ...well this is kinda weird but how do you do it during that time of the month i get really sick i just stay in bed it suks! im worried how would i deal with it during training(boot camp) should i just not join?? how does it all work.. thanks!

My boyfriend wants to go join the navy and become a fighter pilot. We have been happly together for 1 year and 2 months. We want to get married on Jan. 24 the day we met and in the year 2009. Whats are the pro and cons of the Navy? And does anybody know about housing and things like that? If so please tell me about them.

He said that getting the badge earned you a lot of respect in Basic Training and that not many people could get it. Looking at what you need to get a maximum score, it doesn't seem too hard to get a perfect score. Is what he said true?

She's 26 and is in the Marines. She says she is E-9 and works in intelligence 02. She is also living in Washington, North Carolina. Are there any Marine intelligence offices anywhere near where she lives? And how can I find a list of names of active duty Marines living in North Carolina? I need to find out if she's is real or not, I'd appeciate all the help anyone can give me. Thank you all

I've decided that enlisting is the step for me and I am prepared to go active duty and deploy to iraq if necessary. After my commitment I plan on going to college and getting my degree. but the problem and my question is deciding between the two branchs I've narrowed it down to and they are the marines and the army. could someone tell me why you chose one branch over the other or the pros and cons of both?

shoot rocket launchers? Because i saw this commercial about some army game and i saw some guy shooting a rocket launcher and i was like "i think thats what i want to do" and yeah is there a job in the military for that? How much would i get paid to do that?

I'm in the military and I was born in Florida. How was it for you? Did you get a lawyer to help with the paperwork and whatnot? Did some of the companies you have to notify give you a hard time about changing your name?
