I was in the military when i was charged. It was a felony abandonment charge which arond here is not paying child support for 30 days. because i live out of state it was a felony. i have been out of the service for a year now and i have one year left on probation.

During the Cold War Soviet agents were involved in countless acts against the US, often within US soil. The Soviets were allowed to build a massive nuclear arsenal. The US never tried to bully the Russians the way they bully the Arabs now. This is because the Americans like all bullies are cowards and will only pick a fight with third world countries they know they can easily beat. The Russians would easily have been able to stand up to the US. The world is now a much more dangerous place since the end of the cold war with no one to stand up to the US

US just want to keep every islamic country under it's control.. first it was afghans, next iraq.. now for iran...? what do they think of themselves.. true religion never dies... we will fight against any injustice against us... we are not same at all occasion..we will come up strongly.. these days we may be tested but one day we are going get over all things.. Hi, last month I signed a contract to leave for Marine Reserve boot camp. Recently however I have thought that perhaps I would be more suited to the Army Reserve. I'm curious if it is possible to drop the old contract and get a new one? Thanks.

New developments in the Walter Reed hospital scandal. The Army Times is reporting soldiers stationed at the U.S. Army’s top medical facility have been told they are no longer allowed to speak to the media. One soldier in the Medical Hold Unit said many troops believe the media ban is a form of punishment for the whistle-blowing that led to last month’s disclosure the hospital is in major decay.

I already swore in and singned my contract at MEPS, a week ago. I am scheduled to leave for basic training in June. But yesterday my recruiter called me saying that MEPS called him stating that when they did my background check, I have a warrant from 10 years ago, for some community service I did not finish from a Theft Under $300(stole a few cd's). My recruiter is saying they are doing everything possible to work this out.I am afraid that I will be discharged or kicked out. If this is the case..could I still be elegible to join the US Army??

I signed up to be in the air force for six years but I haven't been shipped off yet. I recently bumped into an army recruiter who told me about some really great stuff. He told me I can be a linguist in the army and I can get promoted faster. Is that true? Help me because I really need to know in order for me to make my ultimate decision! Thanks in advance!
