My daddy is fighting the terrorists over in Iraq and he has been gone for two months. I miss my daddy. I am afraid he will get hurt in the war. Is he going to be ok? I do not know how to help him because I am only seven. Is there a way I can help make sure he does not get hurt?

WASHINGTON - House Democratic leaders have coalesced around legislation that would require troops to come home from Iraq within six months if that country's leaders fail to meet promises to help reduce violence there, party officials said Thursday.

The plan would retain a Democratic proposal prohibiting the deployment to Iraq of troops with insufficient rest or training or who already have served there for more than a year. Under the plan, such troops could only be sent to Iraq if President Bush waives those standards and reports to Congress each time.

The proposal is the latest attempt by Democrats to resolve deep divisions within the party on how far to go to scale back U.S. involvement in Iraq.

I am interested in joining the Marines as a Scout/Sniper, but I don't know what rank it goes up to. If I were to join as an officer, would this training still be available to me? If it is, what sort of things are required of a sniper officer?

I enlisted in the Navy. I told the recruiter everything, he said not to tell MEPS, or anyone at bootcamp that I had counseling back in hs school in 1995, and took meds for depression, and bi-polar disorder. I've been functioning fine without those meds since then, and I don't need them, or counseling. I went cause my parents were abusive, and one of them died before kicking me out because I took my sisters side. -needless to say it was a stressful period, and for that I'm stained for the rest of my life for trying to get help. They found out at bootcamp (it says it right on my hs transcript..) and now a black mark of an re4. I'd do anything to get back in the military, take any crappy, or dangerous job, but I know it all depends on meeting qualifications no matter the job. RE4 is a DQ, but what are the chances I can get it down to a RE3?
