My daddy is fighting the terrorists over in Iraq and he has been gone for two months. I miss my daddy. I am afraid he will get hurt in the war. Is he going to be ok? I do not know how to help him because I am only seven. Is there a way I can help make sure he does not get hurt?

Honey your daddy is a brave man and will be fine. Write him letters, many letters, he will be safer if he knows you are ok. Here is a link that you can write him letters and he will get it within 24 hrs www.motomail.us . You write it, they print it up and take it to him. just remember more come home then don't.
God bless you and your family. Semper Fi

Wow, for a 7 year old you have GREAT grammar. Even better than mine was, and I was considered a reading/writing genius growing up.

Sorry to say, but there's no way you can help him not get hurt. If he gets hurt, he gets hurt. This is part and parcel of what your daddy signed up for when he agreed to serve his country as a soldier/sailor. Just send him as much love as you can, either through cards or letters or emails or whatnot.

you can help your daddy by sending out e-mails. You could pray for him. get family to help send out care packages.

Comparing this to other wars, your daddy has a very good shot of coming home ok

Jilly, your Daddy will be just fine.
My, but your spelling, punctuation, grammar, and capitalization are very very good for a 7 year old.

Are you really seven? If so, all you can do is pray for your dad's safe return home.

Your daddy shouldn't have signed up and worried you so much. Are you going to vote for the democraps too so your daddy can come home to a socialist country?
