You asked about an STD not aids. That's the only disease that really offers dangerous exposure when body fliuids are being exchanged.

However, the military would generally ask you to take care of your problem before you go on active duty. Once they accept you, your problem becomes their problem.

No they will not during the physical process u r asked if u have or have ever had an STD or AIDS/HIV and when they draw blood from u they do test it for such things and yes a doctor does have to look at you in personnal areas though they dont touch u so that u feel it is in a sexual manner.

HIV/AIDS... no.

STDs... I'm sure one could join the marine corps if they had an STD. Like someone else said... an STD is just that... a SEXUALLY transmitted disease. That's not the marine corps' problem. HIV/AIDs and Hepatitis are a different ball of wax.

Most STDs are not transmitted through a cut on a person's finger.

HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis are.

If you have a curable STD, you will get LOTS of SHOTS before and during your service with the armed forces. If you have an incurable STD, you may not be accepted into the services.
