What do you think about the war on terror do you think it is worth it do you think they should come home if so?

the war on terror is a hoax imo .. there was never a need in the first place ... the people we are fighting now are fighting to defend their home countries ... and 911 is no excuse coz that was a result of massive incompetence and failure to follow procedure on our part ...

I think that after 911 and really even before America had to and still needs to counter the threat of terrorism. However, it is the way our forces are countering terrorism that establishes the debate. Our military is extremely lethal in dealing with other militaries, but we are not in a conventional war. It is much more complex than we are told on cnn. It requires vastly different tactics, which we are continually learning, but obviously, patroling streets, while IED's and snipers take shots at our troops is certainly not the way to win this war. We need anti-guerrilla warfare tactics and anti-insurgency tactics, which will be a drawn out process of years to come. As far as I am concerned: Inteligence, Special Operations and Technology will be the way to win this war over brute force and numbers. God bless our marines, soldiers and sailors.

I think it's poorly planned just like Iraq! Defend the homeland first and the best way is from the homeland. Overseas we need our allies for our intelligence on the ground because they live there and we're not seen as invaders. Then coordinate the attacks w/them to stop the terrorist plots. How we did things in the past worked better than all these new ideas they've come up with.

It's necessary, but it's going to be a lot harder to win than WWII was, unfortunately. And we thought the Nazis were fanatics!
