I had a Ohio CDL and lost it several years ago due to a DUI (beer) in Kentucky (was in own vehicle not truck). I was having some serious problems at the time and was drinking very heavy. I had no business behind the wheel of anything and realized that. I never even tried to get my License back.

This was 14 years ago and I have taken care of my drinking problem (4 years sober) so I'd like to drive again as I can handle it now.

I have 'Out -Of-State-Drug Offense' on my records. I just have to pay a $30.00 reinstatement fee to get license back but the insurance would kill me with the drug thing on there. I don't do drugs and have no record that would say that I was a user.

How do I fix this?

Local Kentucky DMV only open 9:00am to 12:00 on Mondays and they can't help me. Can't even contact Frankfort. All the websites to KDMV end up being ads for insurance company or lawyers.

Any real websites that I can go to?

Thanks,
Mike h.

We've had burglers come round twice in one week trying to steal our 2 motorbikes that are locked up outside because the garage too full to get them in. Anyway last Sunday night they tried to steal them but i saw them shouted to my dad and they ran off and then last night they came back again, the same people, and again i heard something and saw them coming down then drive, they saw me and run off. Im soooo scared of them coming back again, its horrible, my dad and brother said they cant do anything about it but chain up the gate. Its just horrible that ive seen them twice in one week, i just dont want them to come back :-(

I went into the mall in my hometown today, and was stopped by a cop who made me leave. Apparently we are not allowed in the mall after six unless we are over the age of 19 or are accompanied by a parent. I am 18, and old enough to buy tobacco, buy a lottery ticket, own my own car, own a house, get something pierced, get a tattoo, and vote. But I am not allowed into the mall after six. I am just curious, would this ludicris rule infringe upon my constitutional rights?

I live above a restaurant in Chicago & they are constantly blaring their music, having “Parties”, Bean Bag Tournaments, Karaoke, &worst of all… They let their extremely intoxicated patrons use a bull horn to scream stupid stuff & using the “sound” functions - All night I hear the Drunk-White-Girl-Battle-Cry! “WEEE-OOOO! YEAH!”

I have asked them to keep their patrons under control but they never do anything… They will turn the music down for a song or 2 then turn it right back up... They NEVER take the bull horn away!

I have started to call the cops with noise complaints when it gets out of hand & have called more then 6 times in the last 3 months.

I DO want them to keep their drunken patrons calm but I don’t want them shut down!

That would make the land lord VERY moody& I just don’t want to deal with that…

If I don’t call, I can’t sleep.

If I do call, how many times until they can’t renew their business license?

p.s. I can't move until I get a more stable income.

The officer issued me a ticket in the form of citation. Or at least that is what he called it.
The problem is I can't find out on the ticket itself, how much I have to pay?.
It was a speeding ticket, 44 in a 30.
I was just cruising down a hill, with my foot off the gas, with the music blasting as I do every night.
The cop pulled me over, and you know the rest.
The officer showed me on the ticket where I had to show up to court, and when.
Do I have to show up to court in order to find out how much I have to pay?
He said something about sending it in, what happens next?

(I WILL ADD DETAILS IF YA"LL ASK)

Ok so my friends house was just raided by cops. But not like 1 or 2 but like 25 plus neighboring towns came. He swears he only had 1 bag of weed and they said that is all they found. But they accused him of being a dealer too. But he said he isn't. I am pretty confused and lost... i know he wouldn't do that (sell) so I just need answers...like how serious is this? any additional questions or answers will be greatly apprechiated!!

It seems as though most, if not all women today demand that a man be physically perfect, wealthy, and able to display symbols of their wealth before they will even consider dating that individual.

By only dating the most ideal men, women have helped ensure that only the most fit are able to marry and reproduce, thus cleansing the human race of the genetic material that lead to the creating of less then perfect individuals.

Unfortunately, I’m one of those less-then-perfect individuals who, throughout his life has always been overlooked by women who, logically, were always choosing more fit candidates to date.

i hate them. When i was 11 i was hit by a car. Their wrote down that i ran into the middle of the road. WTF i was on the side waiting to cross. I didnt even see the car , ilooked back and foruth 3 times. I took a step turned my head to look one way then i turned to look the other way . My eye caught a glimpse of the red car literally 5 inches away. As i was rushed to the hospital the jackass who hit me told the police aka her friend for real and im not just assuming. that i ran into the middle of the road. Never again will i trust them.

This story in Philadelphia where I live has been on the news almost everyday for the last week. To sum it up, a police officer responds to a domestic dispute between a 15 yrs old male and another person (I think another family member). When an officer arrives, the 15 yrs old attempts to hit the officer with an iron, however the officer makes the split second decision to fire a round before he was hit by the iron and kills the kid. Now the family of the 15 yrs. old is suing the department for the officer's use of "excessive force". Am I missing something here? I am pretty sure an iron is considered a deadly weapon, and the kid was 15 yrs. old so he could really put some force behind it. Am I just being biased being that I am training to be a police officer or do you feel that this was in fact excessive force. FYI...only police supervisors carry a tasing devices in Philadelphia.

In Syracuse, NY. the police will shut down a convince store if the owners do nothing to stop the crime around it. Finally the one in our neighborhood had a crime big enough to get on the news, even though for years people have complained about it.
Is there a certain department we contact?

My husband and I stayed at a hotel last night called 'The white eagle'. It's also called McMenamins. The story goes that it is haunted, but we didn't care. Apperently one lady hapened to see a ghost and started yelling, that she needed her kids out and jammed the alarm, so the fire alarm went of at 2 am, while the bar downstairs was still open.
In the upstairs hotel area are about 15 rooms.
There was no emergency programm in the room and no one of the personell came up to tell us what to do. I believe that even if you consider an alarm 'false', don't assume so, untill the FD clears everything and get your guest evacuated to a save area.
I've been taught to do so, when I working at a juvenile facility.
What is the proper way to act ? I believe they bring people in danger by not providing the right info and taking the right actions, right?
