Israel does a really nice job but the people are more willing to trade civil liberties for safety than Americans. It is really a subjective thing. Having your bags searched before entering a shopping mall is something that most Americans would object to. I know Israelis that wouldn't think of entering an American shopping mall because bags aren't searched. El Al has almost no problems even though they are right in the middle of what could be considered a war zone but Americans complain about the security at airports now.

some issues in basic terms should not be privatized, and that i might want to assert rather no longer something regarding the justice gadget. Police are a lot less likely to totally implement the rules on the individuals paying for them as adversarial to those which aren't any more. Produces too large of a conflict of pastime.

The USA doesn't have a single police department, for starters. It has lots of local and state police departments, and a few specialized federal ones (FBI, DEA, Secret Service, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, etc.)

It depends what you hope to get from your police. If you want them to keep the crime rate down, police in the US are way down the list. If you gaging them by strength, many governments use the military as their police so we are way down the list on this one as well. HMMM, what do you think is so superior about our police?

I think the UK system of not carrying gun is much better than the US police system. Still they manage their security as well as crime rate.
