He did it when he was like 17 or 16. he was one of my sisters friends. I never told my family or friends about it. I still see him around here he thinks i don't remember what happen.
Because of that bastard i'm afraid to get close to any one.

Don't apologise, your alright here. Its not too late love, its never to late to name and shame these bastards and have them incarcerated for their crimes, because thats what it is, its a crime to touch a child and in my view, the end result should be hanging! Jail cannot cure what they've got. That ******** has destroyed your whole life - - so far! Please, please don't let this carry on anymore, you haven't done anything wrong, nothing at all and therefore you've nothing to be ashamed of. You were a child and he knew what he was doing was wrong, very wrong and now that he has kids of his own, he needs to be bought out into the open! If you really feel that you cannot confide in your parents or your siblings, then please telephone the police and they'll put you in touch with the relevant authoritys who have the power to deal with this animal and they'll give you all the help and guidance that you need, now and in the future. Although the memories of what happened to you cannot be erased, they can be coated over with the love and respect that you deserve, and will one day find. I wish you luck and strength x

You can call the state of kansas hot line for child abuse 1-800-922-5330. The call takers should be familiar with the law and statute of limitations. They may direct you to a local police agency to file a report, or be able to offer other victim services.

where do you live? all states have different rules for how long after a crime they can put some one in jail.
it also depends on what he did to you--fondling is treated differently than complete penetration. in tennessee, since rape of a child is a class a felony, the statute of limitations (the number of years you have to prosecute the offender) is 15 years. sexual battery is a class b felony, so the statute of limitations is 8 years. so in tennessee, it would not be too late.
your state might be different.
you are a strong person to be asking this. for your sake, and for the sake of his children, please talk to a trusted adult. if you have no adults you can trust, please speak to the police. they can and will help you.

It's never to late to protect the next victim of his. You need to report this guy. what if he is hurting more children? I know how you feel, and it doesn't never go away. What he did to you will affect the rest of your life as far as relationships go. It will be hard to trust any man to become close to you where you can trust them. It will be a difficult issue for you as it will be for anyone else that has had to be victimized by this sicko. '
Save a child, lock him up.

Look at the priests they are getting now after lots of years. I don't think there is a time limit on this crime. Sometimes the statute of limitations is a state thing, check with your state.

Exposing this person will involve laying open the issue to the public. It will not be as simple as ratting him out and watching him pay. His family will be damaged or destroyed, your credibility will be questioned, and there is no promise that you will get satisfaction. If you are willing to go through all that taking action against him will involve, then do as your heart tells you to do. You will need therapy for the problem you have with intimacy.

Check with your state's Attorney General's office, and see what the statute says. Most of them have a long period of time to report this abuse.

There is no statute of limitations for a crime against a child in Kansas. He doesn't deserve to get away with it. If he doesn't rape his kids, he'll end up raping their friends or his grandkids. Please consider talking to someone you trust about what happened, you need to heal. Child molesters rarely "get better" they continue to molest as long as they get away with it. My prayers are with you.

It depends on what state you live in i guess. But i dont think there is a statute of limitations for mollestation charges. You should try and get some type of counseling as well to try and help with your issues.
