This is a tough one. Some 16 year olds are more mature than others. The biggest argument against getting your license at this age is that teenagers don't make adult decisions and have a hard time saying no to their friends.

Tough question

I knew a 16 y/o with his license that thought Morocco (the country) was a type of drum.

i think that it completely depends on how mature and responsible they are.

if a teen has any kind of record, or has even remotely gotten in trouble with the law, i think that they should not be able to get it until they are 18.

as far as school goes, i think that its good that a student must have a b average.

I think that is way too young. I think it should be 18. If you can't vote at 16 why should you be able to drive a car?

They do in some states, (read: Florida). It is the cause of most of the accidents we have in this state. Too many young drivers, not enough practice or good judgment.
