We've had burglers come round twice in one week trying to steal our 2 motorbikes that are locked up outside because the garage too full to get them in. Anyway last Sunday night they tried to steal them but i saw them shouted to my dad and they ran off and then last night they came back again, the same people, and again i heard something and saw them coming down then drive, they saw me and run off. Im soooo scared of them coming back again, its horrible, my dad and brother said they cant do anything about it but chain up the gate. Its just horrible that ive seen them twice in one week, i just dont want them to come back :-(

Tell your dad & brother to clear the garage out, and put the bike's where they belong, and can't be seen!
Put the stuff being cleared out onto the Freecycle site. Remember one man's trash is another man's treasure!
Freecycle Network.

It's unusual for thieves to try to steal from a place more than once, so maybe if you have a motion sensor near your bikes you could scare them off (Dummy security cameras work too). But the best thing to do is to ask your local police for their cooperation. If you have the help of several friends and relatives you could try to catch them by buying some handcuffs from a security store (or any other metal ones) and letting them try to steal the bikes, but surrounding them before they do and making a citizens arrest, after doing that (and taking a trip to the police station) you will fix your problem!
Good Luck!

Sorry about this I hope their fingers drop off someone tried to get into my home once and it was scary.
You can do several things about this.
1:Call the police so you get a number and if they get stolen you are protected and also police can advise best way to secure bikes.
2:Clear out the garage as best you can to put the bikes in if it is a case of junk have or go to a car boot sale as someone said another man's junk is another man's treasure or take what you can to charity shop making room for bikes.
3: Place security light and camera outside your home
4:Put alarms on bike as soon as someone touches them it goes off.
It is scary one night someone come and stole a neighbours speed boat he had chained to everything they brought cutters and CARRIED the boat up the road on to main road how is that for cheek and noone did anything!!!
Unfortunatly it is near christmas crime rises and they are determined to get the bikes from sound of it they are scum my friend and also stupid as they know they are being watched and could get caught thick or what!!??

aw you poor thing maybe you could clear some things out the garage for the bikes but it sounds like they are desperate and hopefully they just want the bikes and not to harm anyone thieves aren't necessarily murders just stay away from them and if the bikes get stolen then it will teach ur dad and bro a lesson about security.
Carry a small body spray with you and so in the unlikely event of them approaching you , you can spray em in the eyes erm tell the police you feared for your life (since you clearly do) and it'll be legal.

Make sure your dad does put a heavy-duty chain on the gate with the chain shortened to make it difficult to reach the lock. They may come over the fence, but how will they get the motorbikes over the fence?
I have total empathy for you. It must be terribly scary.
Good Luck!

Why dont you ring the police and tell them so that maybe they can help and get involved?
You could buy some kind of CCTV for your house, or you can buy like fake cameras now that scare burglurs away.
Or make room for your bikes in the garage, or just find some where else to put them!?

i don't mean to be rude..as you are obviously so very upset and scared..but what is your question?
I woudl phone the police, for starters. If you have a description of them, and know, for sure, it's the same peeps, then tell the police that.
Good luck and stay safe xx
(and yes as per above comment..can't u put them in the garage)??

Why don't you chain up the motorbikes?
You should also notify the police that this is happening and they may be able to conduct extra patrols in your area. You may not be the only ones having problems in your neighbourhood.

It is up to you to look after your own possesions, not the police.
I assume the police have been contacted about the previouse incidents. They will not guard your house for you. You have to place these bikes in the garage.
Try to get a video camera and place it somewhere the police can get a good look at their faces.
