It seems as though most, if not all women today demand that a man be physically perfect, wealthy, and able to display symbols of their wealth before they will even consider dating that individual.
By only dating the most ideal men, women have helped ensure that only the most fit are able to marry and reproduce, thus cleansing the human race of the genetic material that lead to the creating of less then perfect individuals.
Unfortunately, I’m one of those less-then-perfect individuals who, throughout his life has always been overlooked by women who, logically, were always choosing more fit candidates to date.

Now, as I rapidly approach my 25th birthday and the realization that, like most men, I will soon begin suffering from a decline in any sexual abilities I might have had after this point, I’m beginning to consider taking more drastic measures to attempt to ensure that I can experience the joy of being with a woman, something I’m told is one of the greatest experiences two people can share, before I die.
Specifically, I’m considering employing the services of a “professional woman”.
Obviously though, I don’t want to end up becoming entangled in some police sting operation and think that I may have found a way to avoid such a fate.
Specifically, I was wondering if it is legal to ask a woman who has positioned herself either on the street or on Craigslist as a prostitute to co-star in an “adult-film” you are producing and offer her her usual fee as a “salary” for her services as an actress as opposed to paying her directly for sex.

Since I would be offering her a salary for her “acting” then, even if she were a cop, I’m hoping that she would not be able to arrest me since paying an actress a salary is not illegal.
Can any of you see any legal pitfalls in my current scheme???
PS. I already know all about protection, etc. I simply want to discuss legal issues in this post.

Hmm....I saw an episode of Law and Order ( don't remember which franchise...) that had exactly this same story line. a Hollywood movie director, making a porn film, trying to beat a prostitution rap...I don't remember how it ended though...
You have a problem for which you should seek counseling. Most women do not demand a man to be perfect any more than most men demand women to be perfect. If that was the case, NOBODY would be getting laid and we know that's not the case! Maybe you just need to revise your standards for what you think you deserve in a woman. If you're looking for "porn star" good looks, and you're as unattractive as you say you are, you're probably shopping out of your league....

Is it legal to hire a prostitute as an “adult film actress” for a limited release (1 copy) movie???

What you need to consider is that the difference between prostitution and the adult film industry is that those actors and actresses are under contract, and the directors and cinematographers have extensive permits and licenses to create such media, which I assume you do not have. The business is strictly governed by an intense set of rules and regulations. Further, it is illegal to recruit such women to be in such films as they offer no valid proof of being disease free (required by the industry), and to recruit them you would have to pick them up off the street, which is illegal in itself. Also, it would probably be pretty hard to find a hooker willing to go on camera, that wold be documentation of her illegal lifestyle. My advice, fix whatever it is the girls you like don't like about you. If it's not something you're willing to fix, then I would consider changing what you look for in women, and realize that not every man can have a super model, which by the way, most prostitutes do not resemble in the least. You'll also do well to realize that some of the most beautiful women in the world are the least romantically desireable.

this is not legal advice, it is personal advice
actually, in some ways, the law is rather clear. what is the purpose of your actions? ok you want a way around that. since you have stated your intentions, then it is illegal, but...
what you are really asking is if you could convince someone who counts that your intent ISN'T illegal. so how far are you willing to go to convince law enforcement, or possibly a jury, of your lack of intent to engage in prostitution?
i will say on a personal note, if i may, that i do NOT find your idea deplorable. i suppose it is pathetic, but those accusing you of being pathetic are, i'm quite sure, pathetic in their own way.
but what you say about yourself & your future is harmful to yourself. maybe it's true, maybe not. i understand how alone someone can feel.
sorry about the length, but i shall endeavor to offer one more piece of advice: perhaps if you discussed this idea & other things with a counselor or therapist, you might be shocked to find that it really isn't that abnormal. and there are things you can do to change it. not just one time, but for your future

Can you prove your established business? Do you own a corporation? Have you filed DBA papers as a sole proprietor? Is there a notarized contract validating the 'employment' by specifying duties and payment?
Legally, you never have to release even ONE copy. But you do need to have the master footage available to show intent. Sounds like it's going to be one expensive piece of âss.

Dude, assuming your question is serious, you have got to be the most PATHETIC human being on the face of the Earth! I only wish you could hear me LAUGHING at you! Not with you, AT YOU, you living waste of air! What a freaking LOSER! "Uh, yeah, she's not a filth ridden, diseased, skanky hooker, she's an 'adult film actress' with a repertoire of one finely produced home movie which just happens to also feature me!" Lord help me, I pity you! No, not really, you're too lame to pity.

You seem like a fine candidate for a medical study being conducted by Dr. Jack Kevorkian. It's not euthanasia, it's a medical study.

Unless you are an established producer, director, distributor, etc., and you were arrested for engaging in prostitution, your "but, I was just making a movie" defense would not fly.
