Say you were getting attacked and you fight back and you end up killing the person that attacks you. Should u be charged with murder or just self defense. Do you think that self defense should be considered as murder. How does anyone know that it was self defense, you would be the only witness….

Find me interesting???? give me a star!!!

I know they were arson if you look at the way they are spaced on the map and the places they started were all out in the desert where there was nothing else to set them off. I was warned on the internet that Al Quida would set fires all over the west this yr. do you think this could be the work of Al Quida?

Totally off the record... I was dispatched to a burglary call. When I arrived at the scene, I was met by the complaining party. It seems someone had broken into his large barn sometime during the night.

He took me to the door and showed me where someone had thrown-up or had a bowel movement. I made the observation that the perpetrator was probably intoxicated and had thrown-up. However, the complaintant disagreed with me about this. He told me that he had another idea why the would-be thief had gotten sick.

Seems inside the barn was a large motor home. Sitting on the floor, near the side of the vehicle was a five gallon gas can. Near the gas can was a piece of siphoning hose. It was obvious that the perpetrator had intended to steal some gas from the motor home.

I have a B.A majored in psychology, minor in sociology. I'm really interested though in investigative/under cover/criminal justice, like "reading" criminals. I was thinking I could split my day being a couseling psychologist, then spend the other day doing investigative work. but i've never heard of an investigative psychologist. SOmeone help! What is it I'm trying to say that I want to be? I don't know all career titles, so I made up Investigative Psychologist yesterday while in church. :) T.I.A!

n their last moment together, Oliver moves his hand slightly towards Barbara, who moves her hand in kind, until they are touching. Barbara shoves his hand away, and they die.

The movie then goes back to Gavin talking to his client, telling him that he has one of two options - he can go ahead with the divorce the man is looking for - which would require a long, tough fight. Or he can get up, leave and go home to be with his wife. Gavin turns his back to light a cigarette while the client quietly gets up and walks out of the office. Gavin smiles, calls his own wife, tells her he'll be home soon, and that he loves her, then hangs up, looking out the window.

I would like to gather your opinion on you rights to refuse to show the door greeter/security guard your receipt when leaving a store. My personal opinion is that unless there is some probable cause for the guard to search you, such as an employee visually seeing you place something in your person, any search is unreasonable; simply refusing to show a receipt IS NOT reasonable suspicion. I know many of you are just saying, “If you didn’t steal anything, why not just show your receipt and move on.” I feel that I shouldn’t be required to forfeit my rights to anyone, especially a (relatively) untrained greeter/guard. This is analogous to consenting for a vehicle search to a police officer, why surrender my 4th amendment right to privacy.
An addendum to the previous question, do you feel that the ant-theft device alarm presents reasonable cause to be searched. Personally I feel that it doesn’t. Ask yourself how many times has it (incorrectly) gone off when you have purchased an item?

Could I get a list of several guns that would be the best for home-defense? Seems like most people say that the shotgun is the best. What type of shotgun would be good? I know little about guns. I am a male and can handle a larger gun if need be.

Ok, just for starters, this question comes from an episode of Law and Order. I understand that it is TV and not real life. That being said, can the DA really do this? On the show, a big company was found to have poisoned several people and sickened and entire low rent apt building. The CEO of the company was given the choice to pay all medical bills for the tenants of the building for life or face charges. That can't ahppen right? That would seem like blackmail on the part of the DA and being able to buy your way out on the part of the CEO. Or is it different because it is a company and not a single person? My thoughts are that it can not happen fo the reasons sated above. Am I correct?

friend of mine son was killed by a bouncer, butting his head and caused him to fall back wards striking his head on the ground, killing the boy. The boy was the drive for that night, had taken the drunk friend out to his car, and two bouncers followed them, beating up on the drunk and then striking the boy who died. What I am looking for is anyone that might know if there are any regulations concerning the use of force as a bar bouncer especially if they leave the bar as these guys did?

my wife is deep into a book about a Detective Inspector, she asked me the other day what one was. It's such an easy thing for me to grasp that for some reason, I can't explain it. I've tried looking everywhere online but I can't find an answer yet. Anyone out there who has any idea, please lay it out for me so I can shut her up so she can stop assuming that just because 2 words are together like that it doesn't mean that it's a mistake not caught in the editing process. thank you.

My girlfriend and I were having sex in my car. It was parked next to another car in a secluded area on the side of a movie theatre. We were both naked from the waist down and she was giving me oral when the family of the car next to us came back to their car! I have legally tinted (not too dark) windows, but the mother and pre-teen daughter were staring in the window at us! The mother appeared to get on the phone immediately as if to call the cops! My girlfriend and I immediately got dressed and waited for the family to leave. As they were pulling out of the space, their car paused for a moment, and I believe they were either taking a pic of my car/plates, or writing my info down. As soon as the car left, we both fled the scene. My question is, IF they did take a pic of my car, what EXACTLY can they do with it?? What can they prove? Will the police do anything about a complaint like that?
I am concerned that the cops will be knocking on my door next week with a warrant!!
