a judge will look at the evidence and make a ruling, as long as youre freind was cooperative and doesnt have a past history of getting in trouble it would seem he will probably only be found guilty of a violation

I hope your friend did not abuse the cop in his protesting and if he did not it should be classed as a simple violation and a hand smack ~~
