hi i would like to get some advice if possible. im 15. i live in oregon. ok so heres my story. well i had got some boltcutters and i took them to school. me and a friend left during class and went to the locker room and cut a lock. their wasen't anything in the locker so we left. meaning we did not steal anything. later i guess they saw us on camera or something and so they did a backpack search i had my boltcutters in it and some other pernal items that they said i "stole" whitch isn't true. how would i prove their actually my items with out a receipt? ok so anyways the cop was trying to blame me for other thefts in the locker room that consisted of breaking into locks from past weeks when i do have a valid recipt saying i had bought them 2 days ago. so after he took my statement. whitch was last week, ihaven't heard from him since. well i saw him today and i asked him what's going on? and he said that he will be seeing me real soon and he also said that i better give up my stolen items and told him i don't have stolen items (whitch is true) he told me not to give him that bullshit. what do i do? what could i be charged with? a fine? i know i'll be on probation. but for how long? is he going to get a search warrant since i keep telling him i don't have any stolen items? thank you very much for you'r time and effort and i hope to hear from you really soon. thank you.

I want a real, working pair (that would also be used as the actual belt buckle) but i'm afraid of the punishments, and I wonder if they would still consider it a weapon if i used it as a buckle.

I'm 22 years old, in Columbus Ohio. I'm moving out of the house I lived in with my mother. I paid half the utillities, but no rent. I'm moving in with my boyfriend, Bob, 26, whom my mother hates and has threatened to have arrested for trespassing should he enter the house or step on the property with the intention of helping me move my stuff.

I know he cannot be kept from parking on the street by my house (residential suburb), but I want to know if he can be arrested for trespassing even if I invite him as still a current resident.

Help, ASAP.

How much do you really know about the law & your rights when approached by Law Enforcement Officers that just get off on the prestige /Power Of The Badge? How many of you fear Law Enforce-ment Officials? Why? Don't just assume you know enough about any situation that law enforcement might throw your way, whatever the case may be. Guilty before proven innocent has become the law of the land, especially here in Kern County ,Northern CA. What are your opinions of why some Cops abuse the authority of their power. Do you think they intended to manipulate the power, even before they decided to become a Cop? Keep in mind that their line of duty is to protect , NOT to harrass. Are they being taught these procedures in the Police Academy or were they just born a DI-CH to begin with? Perhaps abuse was in their past, or we could chalk it up to the big bully in school that always took their milk money. Never fear them for they too, put their pants on in the morning just like me & you.

It happened in Pasadena Community College in California. I stopped in a handicapped drop-off zone to let someone into my car. I didn't park, didn't shut down the engine. Just stopped to let one person in and a campus police cadet gave me a $300 ticket. What happens if I just ignore it?

I just got a parking ticket for parking on the wrong way of the street (parked by the curb in front of my house). I think my neighbor saw my car and called the cops, even though we have been doing that for almost 3 years and everyone else in the neighborhood parks that way. I was wondering how can I tell if she ratted me out. She is a very noisy neighbor (she complains we got company and they park by the curb and she says that it wont be her fault if her company or herself hits our cars by backing out of her driveway; none of the cars block her driveway and we are several feet from her house). She called the cops on my husbands car parked on the right side of the street and he didnt drive it for a long time (it wasnt running at the time) and the cops told him to move it.

Why don't police use deadly force against protesters who are clearly violating laws and endangering public safety and government leaders, such as at the G8 Summit? If you just opened up on those hooded hoodlums with automatic weapons and helicopter gunships, there would be a lot of less of an incentive for future disturbances.
