my friend got in trouble...went to court and got charged with disorderly conduct...is this going to be in her crimininal record?if she goes and gets her job, when they check for her criminal record is it going to show "disorderly conduct" or is it going to show what she really did? like what info. shows up? is it detailed? if she does get a job does she have to explain what she did? please help my friend?

Yes it will show up. Anything you do that is against the law will go on the record. It's just going to show up as disorderly conduct. It depends if her employer really wants to know what she did. Otherwise, don't tell her employer.

It's a misdemeanor, but yes, it's a record. Tell you friend to fess up when asked on a job application. In the college where I teach, a felony does not disqualify you for a job (yes an embezzler would not be hired as an accountant), but not disclosing it is grounds for dismissal. A drug conviction would not necessarily disqualify you from a teaching position.

My son got in trouble because his new wife from eastern Europe sad that he hit her. It wasn't true and was thrown out of court. It still showed on his record when he got his real estate lincense.We paid a lawyer to seal his records but it still showed up. She may have to explain things. Good luck....

IF YOU WANT MORE INFO THAN THAT IT TAKES A LOT OF RESEARCH, WHICH MOST COMPANIES WILL NOT DO.

it only matters if she is charged and convicted of a felony crime.
