No! Dogs are fed any drugs during training. Thats just a urban myth. The dogs are trained to find drugs through positive reinforcement and treats in the form of dog biscuits. (not 8 balls of coke) But yes dogs can be trained to sniff for anything that have a scent to them.

They train them by feeding a small quantity of drug daily, normally opium drugs like morphine, etc. around 1.5g per day for 40-60 days in order to lead chronic addiction so that they can smell the drugs easily.
