Kid i know in Utah (17 years old) was driving home drunk. Ran into a car and killed a pregnant mother, and her two kids. Fled the scene and was found in a neighbors yard. What sentence do you he'll get?

I was just curious as to what questions the police ask rape victims. Also, what is the proper procedure to deal with a rape victim. As in, what would be the chain of events after they meet up with the victim. (Lets just assume they have a suspect)

i know someone who is in legal issues. he is currently working with a lawyer, but has been arrested 2 times for the same thing. now he was supposed to go to court yesterday, but missed because his lawyer was supposed to get it rescheduled. what happens if he gets pulled over and arrested again??

This is my first speeding ticket, I was in a hurry and didn't notice the cop. She didn't write down how much would it be, as I said before, I got caught going 60 in a 40 mph zone. Is there anyway I can find out how much it will be? What's the most that it can be? Is there like a base fine where it increases depending how fast I was going over the speed limit? I'm a college student so money is tight. Also is there an extra fee to go to traffic school or is it included when you pay the fine? Do I still need to attend court even if I'm going to just pay it and go to traffic school? Any helpful advice would be great. Thanks.

This is first offense and he is sitting in a jail in Ohio. He hopes to get a plea bargain. I do not know how to advise him. I adopted him when he was 15 he is now 19.

I was followed on my motorbike the other day by a police unmarked car and it flashed to pull me over and i just bombed off down some road and it chased me for a bit but i got away in the end!! What is going to happen now?? they obviously have my registration number?? can anyone help me please??

He is 12, and often has questions... this one I could not answer; A young lady was pulled over, the office said have you been smoking marajuana... she denied, as they all do, but then he asked he to step out of the car... he had her close her eyes and put her head back... then after looking up her nose.. he said you are lying to me, I know that you were smoking pot.... My question, why did he look up her nose? What was he looking for, I thought pot was smoked, not snorted... what am I missing?

why do police departments have different standards for the hiring of their recruits? In the state of fl they allow a new recruit to have had a previous conviction for misdeamors and less and still become a police officer. do all departments do this and why? isn't this a risk to public safety and national security?

I tried to get my girls help but the abuser convinced the police and social services it was me, even though I was willing to take a lie detector test they refused. Plus I had a wittness but they said that , that person was bias to me. My girls are begging me to help them again and I don't know how to help them or who to turn too.
