It doesn't matter how many times you get arrested for something...it's how many times you get convicted that matters. The sentence will depend on many factors, including the seriousness of the crime that was committed. A conviction for littering is obviously not as serious as a conviction for armed robbery. 3 convictions for littering might get you a higher fine...3 convictions for armed robbery might get you a life sentence if Texas has a 3 Strikes law.

Texas doesn't take kindly to law breakers much less repeat offenders, so your friend will do some jail time if he doesn't get a sympathetic judge. If he does, he could get probation with community service for as long a 3 years. It will depend on which judge presides over his case.

Probably be taken to jail because he probably has a warrent issued for failure to appear in court. Get a different lawyer since that one doens't sound like he is doing his job. Can't answer part of it since you didn't say what he has been arrested for.

Should be good for about 5,000 in fines, revoke forever of his license and maybe up to 24 months in jail and 60 months probation.
