I am 18 years old from Wisconsin. When I was 14 I met a guy who was 19. We then become intimate and when I turned 15 we started dating. Later that summer, still 15, we had sex. He was 20 at this time. We continued this relationship until I was 17. He confessed to me early in the relationship that he liked younger girls and would ask if that's bad. I realize now that I was brainwashed into thinking I loved him so I would have sex with him and that I was in an abusive relationship. Even though it's been 8 months since we've been broken up, it still concerns me that he is still out there and I know he still likes younger girls. I'm afraid that the same thing will happen to someone else. Do I even have a case if I took it to court? My parents would back me up on it because they never liked him.

This is a continuation of my question from earlier this week...i was asked what happened when the sheriff came to my house the morning after i called for help...he showed up after he got off duty and told me my car was on his property, he wanted to be there when i came to get it & he wanted to let me know before i saw my car me i wasn't going to like what i saw. he said it had a flat tire, the passenger side mirror was ripped off and dude had gotten a ticket in it. He finished up by telling me that dude is his wife's brother and she told him ...she'd anything for her brother so, he had to listen to his wife so, NOTHING was going to happen. He got into my face and in his authority "cop" voice said "nothing is going to happen to him... do you understand me? nothing is going to happen!" he wasthreatening me &i knew he meant what he said!
Car was messed up! flat tire, mirror gone, sugar in gas tank it wouldn't start, tail pipe crushed, huge dents & scratches. it had to be towed!

being stopped by local polce, and asked where he is going, where he has been, asked to empty his pockets, give all his details etc. We have lived in this area for 5 months, and he has been stopped 4 times! Last night was he was walking along a main road with mates, carrying a stick! it seems to me, that if you are 14+ wear the wrong clothes and in a group... you are fair game? The other times were because he was walking home, alone.. and also his lights were dodgy on his bike, so they fined him £30, for being on the pavement!
Im not an over protective mum.. But even Im fed up with this now.
My son just sees it now of part of life!!!! I DONT!

My daughter knowingly put her younger friend into a dangerous position by talking her into running away with her. My daughter is a chronic runaway, and nearly gets killed every time she runs. Her last run culminated in a warehouse fire that nearly killed her, and the time before that she was assaulted. Her friend is now in the hospital as a result of similar injuries to those my daughter always ends up with. My daughter, although threatened by a judge with time in juvenile hall every time, has never suffered legal consequenses for her actions and has not learned from her own mistakes. Something has to be done. It would probably save her life if we could teach her a lesson. She did know from past experience that running away to live on the streets is dangerous, and she willingly put her naive young friend in that position. If she wants to be free like an adult, she should suffer adult consequenses when she makes a bad decision.

My cousin who's 20yrs old, just told me that he met some girl "at the airport." but after further investigation and snooping through his emails, his sister & i found out that he met this girl through the internet and he wired transferred money to her in order to buy a plane ticket to come here.... she arrived like 2 days ago and she's probably staying with him (he told me she was a foreign exchange student and she's studying at Duke, which is all a lie!) Then i found a site that has the EXACT same pic of her "passport" that she sent him... and it turns out this was all a scam and she's probably going to try to steal money from him, who can i report this to? Immigration? US Marshalls? FBI?

Please help us with any info you can provide... we just don't know where to go with this.... we want to solve this problem before she actually steals $ from him or does worse!

and i know we wont see the judge until monday. but i am wondering what is going to happen. he stole 4,000 dollars worth of stuff ( ie a ps3, ipods, a laptop) from his work (walmart). he is not a flight risk and this would be the first thing on his record. he has nothing prior to this. he is 19 and i know it was stupid of him. what do you think will happen? wal-mart got there stuff back. also do you think they will set bail? and if you think they will how much do you think it will be?

Have you ever used a court appointed attorney? and were you satisfied with the way they handled your case. The reason I am asking is my step daughters boyfriend got into some minor trouble and they don't have money, I told her to use a court appointed attorney. They believe that if they use a court appointed attorney they will not get good service. What do you think?

I've been hearing on the news lately about all the kids that have been kidnapped and it makes me sick. I thought of a way the police could locate them if they get kidnapped. A company could make a watch that looks like a regular watch. But it could have a secret compartment, that when opened would reveal a small alert botton. Once pressed, it could alert the police that someone's been take against their will and it could be programmed to be a tracking device. So as soon as the person is kidnapped and they pressed the botton, the police could zero in on their location. This would save so many lives. Aside from watches, they could also put it in necklaces or even the hem lines of clothing. If it's in different items, the kidnapper wouldn't know which and he's not going to make the person strip off everything in public. I can't afford to patent the idea but I'll submit it somewhere freely to someone in order to help victims. Does anybody know who I could tell my idea to? Thanks!
