You know, I used to think it was kind of petty to check kids or people parking. Sometimes, I would just dtrive by if they were outo f the way of traffic or public view and it was late at night.
Kind of a live and let live attitude.
Then a guy I know decided to check a couple "parking" but it wasn't that at all. The female was being raped and she looked upon him as her hero, sent to save her.
After that, I at least made sure that everybody there was voluntarily engaging in whatever "situation" they were involved.
I never wanted to think that someday I let a rape in progress go because I didn't want to "hassle" or inconvenience someone for what really is lewd and lascivious conduct as it is possible for anyone to walk up on them if the cops can do it.
So, not only is it legal for cops to check you, it is a duty to protect the other person in the situation. Think of it this way, your little sister, cousin, whomever is taken by force and they say "the cops just drove by, they could've helped me."

In a car---nude----how charming. Did you ever hear the phrase" get a room"? And did you hear of rape?? Some girls are dragged off ina car--forced to have sex---then injured or killed---the cops have a right to make sure she was there of her own free will---and they check you too. I wish you the best--the cops were doing their job---thank goodness she was OK and you weren't assaulting her--you'd have lumps to be writing about--and well deserved ones at that.

Public nudity is a misdemeanor violation...you're not supposed to get "nekkid and busy" in the car! Yes it is legal for the cops to run up on your car and yes it is legal for them to ask for your i.d.. While you may have been naked, you had it near you somewhere...maybe on the floorboard? Under her behind? Anyway, it was in the car and you have to produce ID for the police.

Not only is it legal, but it is the reason for them approaching your vehicle. You were breaking the law.

Nope, not illegal fro the cops, however illegal for you. Sorry on this one. However, I dont give the ticket for it, if its 2 consenting adults, because the emarassment is punishment enough.
