Law Enforcement & Police - February 2007

I was pulled over for a ticket.

Rolling stop.

Officer wrote on citation I was going approx. 10 miles per hour, which is way off the mark, so I want to contest the ticket.

Also, he never ran me through the system. He didn't ask for my registration or Insurance.

He TOLD me he didn't run me even after I begged him to because for over 10 years I've had a perfect driving record.

He said he had to give me the ticket because his riding buddy wouldn't let him let me off.

I plan on contesting based on the speed, and the fact that I've been living here for 15 years, the stop was about a 1/2 mile from my home, I've been proactive in getting parrots set up, and petitions signed to get speed bumps put in to get people to slow down.

CALIFORNIA LAW APPLIES.

So, does anyone have any experience with this type of thing?

personally i would like to see many of our freedoms taken away as munishment. i would like to see public hangings come back in to style. perhaps rounding up gangs and lighting them on fire would get a message accrost.

i look at my country and i see it desolving and becomming worse every day.

you think after 9/11 we would have learn some thing but nope we have not. you would think with all the rape and crap we would do some thing but nope we dont. perhaps one day the military will give up and take the country over because the dumbass civilans are not doing a very good job.

what do you think?

I heard from people who were there, that mary jo was passed out in the backseat of his car and he didn't know it. He took some married woman from the party to make out with on a blanket. While they were playing hanky panky Mary jo woke up from her stuper, didn't know where she was, and accidently put the car in neutral and rolled into the water. Ted and his adulteress freaked out and went back to the party where they found out Mary jo was missing and didn't figure out she was in the car till hours (and many cocktails ) later. They all got their stories straight before they called the police. Anybody got any other info?

ok 3 days ago i was listening to the radio and they advertised this producted called ,if i remember correctly the phaser and it was meant to block police radar and they said it was illegal in 8 states including california. it also had a number to call to buy the product.

during the whole commercial i never herd any thing that hinted that it was a joke...but...it must be! so i came here to ak you people if you her ever herd any thing like that?

a 17yr old dating a 14yr old all they do is hold hands and kiss (PG kiss). is it illegal for this to happen?

I know of someone who is currently stealing identety's of people who are dead and do not leave in the usa. This person has bought 3 homes and I suspect he is using this folks
credit to get extra cash. I know this is wrong and I want to report this eroniuos dealings, my problem is, I just dont know where to go and how to go about it. please help me
this person has even used my friends dead father and has him as a living person with
multiple addresses in the usa. her dad died in 96 and was last in the us in 1969. Help !

This is how many killed this year...Last year was "Total Line of Duty Deaths: 143"

Heres my ? to those who hate officers...Why???...I can't imagine NOT doing this job...Since I was about 6 I wanted this...So this is my question...Why would anyone on earth want to kill a innocent officer...Yes...I understand not all is good...There are the bad just like EVER OTHER JOB in this world!!!

But most that are bad seem to be the ones who live!!!

My car has been in repo status for the last 8 months and now there is a private investigator (alleged) calling me threatening to put me in jail. Is this true? Can I go to jail? I don't want the car because it is a lemon, but I need it for a lttle while longer. I have a baby and no one to help me in getting back and forth.
