Oh yes they do. Police take everything they can and copy or photograph it. When I got arrested they made me take out my tongue ring, and they photographed it.

We've never done that, unless it could be possibly connected to another crime, then copies and pictures would be taken of everything.

Probably, I think they can legally, you would have to ask them I think!
