ok 3 days ago i was listening to the radio and they advertised this producted called ,if i remember correctly the phaser and it was meant to block police radar and they said it was illegal in 8 states including california. it also had a number to call to buy the product.
during the whole commercial i never herd any thing that hinted that it was a joke...but...it must be! so i came here to ak you people if you her ever herd any thing like that?

If you understand the process of a radar you will understand that it is almost impossible to stop. By the time the radar beam hits your car the police already has a signal, almost instantaneously. Radar detectors or phasers can never alert you in time or jam a signal.

Nothing can get around a laser (LIDAR) radar system. By the time we have the speed reading your detector is finally going off. As for jammers...good luck.

It's not a joke, but it's illegal
don't buy it, just get a radar detector and watch your speed, you don't want to drive unsafe, but you don't want a ticket just because you didn't realize you were over the limit

yeah the lasers that more officers are using these days work much better than the older radars and again your dector is just letting you know that you were just "clocked" too late to slow down now

Yup, heard of it. it does exist. There are a few different models.
One scrambles radar, one scrambles lidar, and one does both.

yep its for real. po-dar is extremely popular but i dont know if it can "block" the cops readings. phaser is good stuff tho.
