After a slightly late night party one of my neighbours knocked on my door and asked us to turn the music down, we apologised and aid we would turn it down.

Obviously he'd been building up a bit of a temper while thre music was pretty loud and he started mouthing of a bit flashed his warrent card threated seizure of the equipment within 5 minutes then left.

Is he allowed to use his warrent card in such a way?

I would have thought if he was going to use that he would have to be a police officer to the letter, not swearing or using random threats.

his public defender is saying that he most likely get 9-16 months and he has already served 6 and has yet to be arraigned. he has no prior record and the robbery was unarmed. he supposedly got away with 7 grand. i was just wondering how realistic is it for him to get 9-16 months considering this crime? it seems like too much of a lenient sentence for a crime like this. please answer if u have knowledge of the law and please serious answers only!

When it was in the newpapers that 82 different officials are entitled to enter your home, seventeen of them through both front and patio doors and four by any means necessary, it seemed like a good time to dig a moat, but the drought hosepipe ban stopped it from being flooded and now I've had to fill it in because I didn't seek prior planning permission. Is an Englishman's home his castle or not?

And I don't want to hear the obvious "putting something back" or "helping the community" lies. Truthfully... Is it the the uniform? The desire to wield power over others? Or maybe the chance to assault people legally? Could someone please le me know.

Don't police cars that are doing speed traps on the highway or "hiding out" looking for trouble to come their way have to at least have their parking lights on to give someone a reasonable warning?

Last week my cousin ran into the pharmacy to get her perscription and left her infant in a unlocked car with the air conditioning running. The police gave her a ticket for child neglect. She seemed shocked and at the time didn't understand why she was in so much trouble. She is very aware now that she was wrong. We are also well aware that she made a very very bad decision, so please dont respond if you want to just bash her. She has no defense and I am not making excuses for her. I am looking for information on what will happen now, or what the punishment is for this charge. Will she need a lawyer? Does anyone know how this will work?
As for now we are looking for a parenting class in hopes that she will not make other serious mistakes. If you have any info on parenting and parenting safety classes in Montgomery County MD, we would appreciate that as well.

I was done taking a bath outside my trailer and decided to take a nap outside and enjoy nature. I had a dream that I was being raped and it felt so real. Well, I woke up and noticed that my neighbors dog Eubert was mounting me from behind. I tried to get him off but he was locked on to me. Are there laws against this. Can I charge a dog with rape? Can I sue the trailer park? Or should I sue the owner.

One last question: If the dog os convicted what sentence would it get. This is not a joke people as i have been crying everyday because of this. I dont know what to do

I have a big tin tub outside my trailer that I bath in once every 2 weeks to get the smell of chicken and pigs off of me. by bath probably lasts 3-5 minutes at most. The neighbors are calling the police and filing complaints.

I thought guys like to see naked girls taking baths. I never thought anyone would complain. Is this legal what they are doing? Dont I have the right to do this:?

Assume that your neighborhood has recently seen a drastic increase in crime. Further assume that you have 100 individual home owners and no commercial property located in your neighborhood. Outline a three step plan to help reduce the crime rate in your area.

For the past few years I've had some psycho in the chat room I go to threaten to stab me, call me horrible names etc everytime I log into chat. I'm not alone. Please don't suggest ignoring, he just comes back with another name. He also uses boot codes and harrasses the whole room. Locks vc and blasts music. He's told others that he wants to kill then and that he'll get away with it because he's bipolar, mentally ill. He laughs and says there's nothing we can do to him because yahoo won't touch him and so far he's right. He's been doing this for 7 years now in chat. He's also racist and wants death to any nonwhite christian people. Now is there anything we can do about this guy? He flaunts he gets away with it because yahoo is crap and dealing with people like this. I don't appreciate having death threats and neither do others. This guy lives in Manchester UK. We even have a photo of him and where he goes to school.

Does anyone have any idea what recourse we can take?

Thanks!

What do you think about it? Should the government crack down on drunken behaviour, since it causes people to do a lot of things they wouldn't do if they were sober?
I live in a state where it is now illegal to serve alcohol to people who are drunk or pregnant.
It's a good idea. We need people with more compassion and wisdom than others to protect the masses from themselves.
Getting drunk has NEVER solved any problems - if anything it makes them worse.
If I was in political power I'd impose a three strikes fine of $100,000 for drunkeness followed by minimum 10 years jail if the guilty parties are too stupid to learn.

I'm still technically married, but there is a 5 yr order of protection(complete stay away) and we are hoping to file for a divorce here, but I found out he was in jail the past week and his mother will not tell me for what, is it possible I can find out? even if there's an order of protection? I want to know for family court, we have 1 child together. He got a class E Felony last August, the judge said 1 more f*** up and he's looking at prison time, but that was a yr ago, I'm assuming this time it's bad also, since she won't tell me what the charge is, so is he also looking at prison time because of what the judge said? The mother in law said he told her it looked like it was bad, she said he could be in there till his daughter is 18, although she always thinks the worst. So can I find out the charge even though there is an order of protection and w/ what the judge said 1 yr ago, do you thinkl he's looking @ prison?
