his public defender is saying that he most likely get 9-16 months and he has already served 6 and has yet to be arraigned. he has no prior record and the robbery was unarmed. he supposedly got away with 7 grand. i was just wondering how realistic is it for him to get 9-16 months considering this crime? it seems like too much of a lenient sentence for a crime like this. please answer if u have knowledge of the law and please serious answers only!

I live in canada and the drinking age is 19, I went to an all ages event and I showed the bouncer my ID which says im born 06/15/88 and he let me into the drinking area. I got pretty drunk not too bad tho. I was there for about 3 or 4 hours when I steped outside the bar/club for a minute. Befor I left I asked one of the bouncer will I be able to get back in and he said I had 15 minutes until they wernt letting anyone else in the club/bar. so I steped outside to talk to my buddies for a minute and when I tired to get back in one of the bouncers said I couldent get back in, I said you have to be joking right which he wasent so i called him a ******* *** hole and the he puched me and I snaped,so I grabed him and threw him to the ground and people had to get me off him them I totally lost it, just swearing and calling all of the bouncers on. cops came I ran, they got me, and gave me 2 tickets for treaspasing and being drunk in a public place.
WHAT SHOULD I DO? THEY SERVERD ME UNDERAGED?

This is for research for my novel. Anyone in those law enforcement agencies, specifically Arizona, would be most helpful to help me out.

I know everybody is going to give me the b/s about their lives being on the line.BULLSH*T ! They have a pistol,a can of mace,a billy club and a radio that they can call for help at any sign of trouble.A lot of jobs are dangerous, fireman, electrician ,bridge construction, shipyard work...ect.That doesn't make these other people hateful.
Oh,cops have to deal with as*holes; So does cashiers.
If cops would just lose the"better than thou" attitude, the systen just might work like it is supposed to.

I got a ticket going 62 in a 45 this morning, and the cop said that since I was so honest (I have a radar detector and concealed weapon in the car) in telling him what I had that he would have no problem talking with the judge to have it reduced. On average, how much do you think my ticket will get reduced to? It's a $180, 4-point ticket as of now. BTW, I'm in South Carolina.

I am not a big fan of it. You see this many times during moral crimes. Such as drug posession or a charge of picking up a prostitute. I don't feel that it has any positive effect. Further down the line in the justice system is probably where that should happen. Maybe some form of counseling. But I don't see much use for it at the time of arrest. The whole shame factor really isn't that much of a deterrent in my view. What do you think?

After a slightly late night party one of my neighbours knocked on my door and asked us to turn the music down, we apologised and aid we would turn it down.

Obviously he'd been building up a bit of a temper while thre music was pretty loud and he started mouthing of a bit flashed his badge threated seizure of the equipment within 5 minutes then left.

Is he allowed to use his badge in such a way?

I would have thought if he was going to use that he would have to be a police officer to the letter, not swearing or using random threats.
