I'm currently a stay at home mom, and I'm looking for something that I could do with my degree, BUT be there for my child. I really want to be a PI, but don't know where to start. Suggestions???

A girl I know just told me her parents are pressing charges because I beat her up... There are about 10 witnesses who all say she threw first punch... And a lot of people would testify that she is a pathalogical/compulsive liar (not sure which one is right, wanna let me know that too?) I'm really nervous because I beat her up and I managed to walk away from the fight with no bruises mostly because she cant punch... She is 15, I am 16...
Can I still be charged?
How long does she have to press charges?
How long will it take for the police to talk to me after she presses charges?
Can her parents press charges?
Will I likely be convicted?
If I am convicted, will I have a permanent criminal record or will it be erased when I turn 18?
If she wins, what punishment will I get?
Would it still be apropriate to take her to small claims court for the money she owes me?
Will I be tried as an adult?
Anything else I should know since I'm in this situation?

I had like 50 people at my house this weekend and the cops showed up at 5am cause the neighbors complained (those *******, thats the 4th time they've called on us, the other 3 for having fires.... and we werent even being that loud either..)

Anyway, if I didnt consent to them coming in, would they have to just leave? I've been reading about the 4th ammendment but havent found anything directly related to this... I want to have parties at my house again but dont want to go to jail cause a few people happen to not be 21.

No its not, me its my friend, she got done a while back for a crime she believes she was framed for. Its a good 5 years have passed since then and i dont know what to suggest for her, as i think its too late to appeal, but what do i know?

The three young men who were caught on CCTV stabbing defenceless victims about three weeks ago, they were obviously there, they definitely did it, what is wrong with hanging them. I understand that in cases where it is not 100% that someone did commit the crime they should not be hung but when there is concrete evidence what harm can it do. They stabbed a young student to death because they knew they could get away with it....surely we need harsher penalties for such evil individuals?

I believe there are both people who just don't care what goes on, and those who don't know what's going on. But I feel that if everyone knew what really is going on they would all feel the same way.

Some people have died while being tasered and police seem to use tasers with an ever increasing frequency. Are they safer and should htey continue to be used by police as an alternative to deadly force?

I have to taske drug test. Court order. I just want to know if percocett and darvocett will show up as same type of drug I am perscibe both but am curious how they know which one I might take or if I take them both at allowed times in betweeen. I also take water pills valium trazodone flexerill neurontin and medrol. Will any of these drugs stop the lab from identifing other drugs in my system. My drugs are all prescibed but what if the combination gives me false positives on other drugs i don't take. Oh in E.R. I was givin morphine and ativan. My biggest Question is will Darvocette & Percocette show as same on drug test. The urin sample goes to a lab because I have so many types of drugs I take. Please help if you knoe the answer!! I need a sample of his blood to be able to do a DNA test to prove that he is the father for legal reasons. Does anyone know if I need to hire a lawyer? or if I can request it personally from the crime lab? I am so upset and stressed about his death and on top of everything, I am not getting straight answers fromt he police and sheriffs. Okay, so this person owes me a thousand dollars because they wrote me an NSF check. Kept telling me that he'd pay me back but he hasn't. He eventually stopped answering my calls, so I had to contact his parents to try and get a hold of them. Keep in mind when I contacted his parents, I only informed them of the situation and asked them to try and get in contact with him. This morning I get a message on my voice mail that says: "If you call my parents again, I'm going to get my boys from ___ (another city) and kick your butt".

Can I use this against him as a threat charge or whatever? I'm already placing a civil suit against him for writing NSF checks and putting my bank account to negative.

Please help! Thanks.

i have been divorced,for 11yrs.the child support people are very slow at getting warrents and i would like to know why this is. I work with the law and on cases that i work with they are fast at it,so why cant they be fast at getting the back child support that is do to are children,and why are they allowed to work and support there live in but not are children. i have tried to help them with my ex. husband and still nothing.
