Because the billions used to fight the war on drugs that we have obviously lost shouldve been put towards education. Those billions could teach life skills classes, anti-drug deturrent programs, and help our youth keep the technological edge that our economy must depend on to remain the economic powerhouse that we are in the world.......Killing 2 birds with one stone.

Because the "war on drugs" is a lost cause and was from the start. Regulate and tax is the way to go... prohibition never worked.

cheaper now, you have not checked the price of pot and other drugs,
Drugs were and are still easy to get, but cost, has keep up with the cost of living, it is much higher today than back then.
