The outside party are my two uncles. They were left out of their parent's trust/will. They thought they were each getting a home. Instead, one home is going to a grandson and the other is going to a great-granddaughter. Initially when my grandparents created their trust in 1992, both of my uncles were getting a home. But then an amendment in 1994 removed one uncle and another in 2002 removed the other uncle as beneficiaries to these two homes. My grandfather passed away in '95 and my grandmother just passed away two weeks ago. Our family lawyer sent out a copy of the will to everybody. They are unhappy, but again, are not beneficiaries in the most recent trust/will from 2002. Do they have any right to contest or can they even contest?

Ok well a few nights ago we had family over and some friends as well. My stepdad is always rude to them, he puts them down or just ignores them completely.. Well the other night things got out of hand, first off he was giving my 5 yearold little sister alcohol while she was on vikadin for her fractured foot.. later on the night it kept getting worse, and near about midnight he got so pissed off and was about an inch away from beating all of us up. He was drunk that night, but he acts the same even when he's sober, and that scares me so much, what if one night he completely loses it and gets the gun we have in our house and shoots us.. I am terrified to be around him, I dont feel safe in this house anymore and I dont when i'm at other familys houses because their allowing my stepdad to be on the property, and I'm scared to be anywhere near him... I dont know what I should do, and I'm not sure if i can move out legally yet because I'm only 16, and i'm kinda afraid to get a teachers advice from my school cause police can end up being involved and things can escalate even more... Then lastnight things got out of hand again with him, and mom is doing nothing about it, so he's going to be staying, and i'm so scared to be here.. I want to try move out for sure when I turn 17(I heard from some people that I can move out without consent when I'm 17 but I'm not sure), but thats 4 months away.. How can I make it through these 4 months until my 17 birthday so I can get out of here?? So what is the legal age to move out of your parents house without consent??? And if I can not move out now, will I be able to move out without parents consent when I turn 17??

I was at a mall today in St. Louis and witnessed blatant discrimination by the police. First, a cop who was patrolling the mall walked right past my friend and I and asked three black teenagers behind us to open up their bags to check for shoplifting. Two of the guys had no bag, and one guy had a tiny slip bag on his back. This was obviously racially motivated; I could have fit a person into the purse I was carrying, and the cop didn't look at me for a second. Then as we were leaving, three black women were trying to enter the mall, and another police officer made them leave because he said they were underage and they refused to show ID (17+ age limit). The women were clearly 25+ years of age, and obviously furious, and when they tried to argue, the cop threatened to arrest them! My friend and I were in sweats, and looked about 13 years old at the time, and were never asked for ID. Who do I tell? The police are clearly not the answer in this case, and the mall doesn't seem to care...

So there was a lot of police in Kingstowne last night October 31st, 2007 and my friend her her boyfriend tried to turn around and the cop got pissed and threw his lil wand thing to direct traffic on my friends boyfriends car and made a dent, and the officer was really pissed. Something was going on and they didn't want anyone to go anywhere, and had traffic stopped and tons of police cars...was it a serious shooting or something? Anyone have any idea what happened? Thanks!

So here it goes: I used to work for a company where my immediate supervisor would make antisemitic/racist comments. I always felt really uncomfortable but because my friend helped me get the job and asked me not to "make waves", I never said anything to HR or the CEO.

I have kept in contact with many of the people that work at the company and recently found out that an "anonomous" survey was sent out. In it, my friend indicated that she was uncomfortable about the comments. Within a week, she was basically told to "shape up or ship out."

I feel so angry about this and I know it's illegal. But what can someone do about this situation? The comments were not directed toward me at the time and they were not intimidation. Yet, the company tolerates this woman's racism/antisemitism. What can a person do in this situation? Is there a government organization to contact?

I'm not condoning abortion but isn't the whole point most likely because they don't want their parents to know they are pregnant so needing parental consent seems stupid.

Only the government can tape others talking? Why? If I have a plot of land, I cannot put a big sign and advertise a business. It has to be a company like Lamar or some other crooked company. You can throw out a murder conviction on a technicality. It seems convicted prisoners have so many rights in prison. What we have here is a bunch of retarded perple making laws.

if you were having a private conversation with your son and unknown to you he was taperecording you saying things that others would find offensive, and the little rat aired that on the internet to make a fool of you cause he probably was trying to blackmail you and it did not work--who do you think is the bigger criminal??? i think Duanes son is a coward and a loser to turn on his own father like this!!!!he probably uses those same words himself but is all self righteous because he is dating a black girl! why to make his family angry?what Duane said was said in a private conversation and was not an attack on any race or people, rude yes worthy of a lawsuit and this media exposure ---NO! his son must have no real talent and is exploiting this for his 15 minutes of fame!!!! how sad?where are Duanes rights to privacy?or is it so easy to condemn a white man if he uses certain words even in a private telephone conversation which was illegaly recorded??? not admissable in any court of law!

Ok so 3 days ago me and a buddy were at a party and from what i'm told we got in a fight so we left. On the way home he ran off into a ditch and totaled his car[yes he had a little to drink] but anyways the cops come. Before we went to the party i had 1 drink and i'm pretty sure i didnt have any there since we were in a fight right when we got there, but the cop charged me with Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct because i had an attitude because i asked "wait what happend" every couple minutes or so and after awhile they stopped telling me and assumed i was just wasted and couldnt remember but my buddy said i asked them to give me a breathlizer and they said "we already know your drunk and dont need one of those". Next day i went to the doctor cause i had a really bad head ache and he confirmed i had a concussion.

Can they really give me those 2 tickets just because i seemed drunk because i had a concussion?

I am really dreading having to go to court. I will be going alone and I wouldn't put it past him to show up with his new wife. I would rather he not show up at all. Then again, he would have to travel about 3 hours and has never had anything to do with his kids.

"There are certain American websites currently offering mouth-watering incentives to would-be buyers. "Delivery within four months", "Discounts of up to $19,000", they proclaim.

If it were cars they were selling this would not seem odd, but it's babies that are for sale – bright, smiling newborns to tempt the childless into parting with about £20,000.

There is no shame in treating babies like any other purchase in America, where the adoption industry is largely privatised and run by firms that promise to bring together pregnant women and adoptive families, deal with all the legal niceties and ensure there are no hitches along the way.

Right now, there is something of an ongoing sales push: November is National Adoption Awareness Month, which aims to get more Americans to choose adoption, both as buyers and as sellers."

The above is quoted from yesterday's Telegraph in the United Kingdom.

I found an artical on Novembers PC magazine that said the Feds are using spyware to investigate the internet. This spyware can bypass all firewalls and antispyware software on the market. So anybody who is a liberal better clean his PC on a regular basis because that's one thing that the feds are looking for.
