Some people put a sign at their home in small towns, but they only do it to make a few bucks, but it's not a full time job.

It's a sideline job. Many banks have their managers and even some cashiers provide this service free to their customers. Not sure if the bank reimburses the notary for this. They only get a couple bucks for each transaction. You do need to be very careful what you affix your seal to, as it can come back and bite you. Don't do ANYONE a favor by notarizing in a false way.

You work in a job that requires a notary. A lawyers office or a bank. you know you can't make a living doing this right?
