LONG story short:

broke into my job a few months after i was fired. i still had the key and still knew the alarm code, so i didn't use any force to the building. the women who knew i did it, (boss and boss's best friend) came down to my home and went through ALL of my stuff and took EVERYTHING that even looked like it could have come from the store. a lot of it was mine that i had purchased either from there before i worked there, or from other stores! i can't prove what was mine, and they can't really either because they hand write all their receipts and are really unorganized. she totaled it at $3,400, but like i said, a lot of the stuff was mine and can't be proven either way.

i see an officer tomorrow.. i know it's a felony and i'm probably going to be put in jail straight away.. right? also, how long will i go to jail for this with a previously clean record and diagnosed anxiety/addiction/depression? also, i spent about 5 months this year going through CD treatment.

I was leaving my girlfriend's place last night when the trouble started. As I walked to the door, I reached for the Twix candy bar that I'd set on the kitchen counter earlier. She grabbed my hand and told me that it was her Twix, and that I should "check my mitts." I knew she was only kidding, so I decided to play along, wrestling her into the living room. But then she took it too far, pushing me into the stack of CDs she's piled up on her floor. I stepped on a few, and knew immediately that I had broken some.
I looked down at the floor and realized that I had stepped on, and broken, my very own Tevin Campbell CD that she'd borrowed. Needless to say, I was heated. Tevin Campbell is, arguably, the greatest entertainer my generation has produced. Anyway, this was an autographed CD, and it can't easily be replaced. She says she'll buy me a new CD, but I feel that's not enough. I want her to pay me for the value of the signed CD. I'd say it was worth about $500. Who's right?

So the plan it to hire some thugs with guns so that after I buy an island in a militarily weak island nation (not politically close to the US or UK) and declare independence the local government is not able to stop me by force. Then I'll turn the place into Adult Disneyland by growing and selling cheap drugs, licensing prostitutes as independent contractors and dumping all kinds of money into an impressive casino... I may charge people $1000 for a one week visa to visit if I get greedy ... of just live off the profits from the casino...

Tell me why this is impossible to do. Who if anyone (with any significant power) would oppose me or even care?

Two questions:

My daughter is 16 years old. adjuster claims no judge approval is required in his settlement offer due to no "permanency? He said....."right there is no permanency to your daughters injuries?" I responded, "Im no medical provider so I wouldn't know." He then goes on and states, well since there is no permanency, we don't need a judges approval. Is this correct?

And last, the adjuster had made hi offer although it has only been verbal over the phone. It is entered into their system and has been ackknowledged by several employees as their claims office.

Can they withdraw the offer for any reason at this point?

I honestly get the strong feeling this adjuster is playing games, I don't trust him. He is trying to bait me into answering questions, etc.

So is a judges approval needed?

Can they withdraw the settlement offer?

Ywo years later I face a possible foreclosure and have discovered that walkthrough sign off sheet was never signed and made part of fole for issuing of loan docs and for funding , realtor and developer stuck one on my door backdated 2 yrears and are asking me to sign. iiAre they having trouble forclosing without this mandatory paperwork. My understanding is contract is null and void by ommossion of this as it must be signed off for issuing loan docs and for funding at Title. Can i bail out of this loan based on this ommission of a very important piece of Paper. From what I have read they proceded wothout following their own rules and due dilligence in their haste to fund the loan , I believe Title is responsible for allowing loan to fund without it. They know they blew it but wont communicate with me so I did not sign backdated sign off sheet. Need Title expert to give the right remedy at this time . Tahnks for your help.

I am getting the run-around by my mortgage co. all payments up to date and house in foreclosure. there is too much info to list in this box but are the lawyers and mortgage company required to respond if I dispute their claims that I owe $ 3,978. they lie and lie and lie and never have a record of me requesting a print-out of monetary transactions. Now I am in forclosure, how does this happen when you make all of your payments. by the way, they lost $2,100 and have no record of it. I faxed them the cashed check but they never got it. I faxed it again and they still never got it, I asked if there was an address where I could send it certified mail and they refused to give me an address. WTF????

My mom lived with me and my husband for 6 months. I have tried asking lawyers but of course they are only after the money. So I am wondering if someone can help me. My mom moved out a month ago with no notice. We gave her 2 weeks to get ALL of her stuff out our house. I gave her an additional week due to her being sick. Here we are now over a month later and her crap is still at my house. What do we need to do to legally be able to put her stuff out at the curb?

"(11/06/07 - PENITAS, TX) - An illegal immigrant faces drug charges after complaining that two gunmen stole 150 pounds of marijuana from his Texas home.

Hidalgo County sheriff's deputies arrived at the home near Penitas to find the door kicked in and nearly 15 pounds of pot on the floor.

Sheriff Lupe Trevino says 35-year-old Jose Guadalupe Flores fled while the masked men ransacked the place.

But Flores later returned and told deputies he'd been wrapping the drugs for shipment when he was robbed.

Trevino says the guy admitted the drugs were his.

The sheriff says: "That's not the smartest move."

Flores, who's an illegal immigrant from Mexico, was charged with felony possession of marijuana. Because of his immigration status, Flores will be jailed until his case is heard.

The gunmen are sought in Friday's break-in. "

I got banned from entering parents condo bc I visited and stayed & lived there against rules years back. Yes my faultThen earlier this year my dad bc terminal, died "quick"/ 4 1/2 months/ from cancer. Now I realize their regulations can legally keep me out, but isn't anything supportive of a man seeing his dad through his passing irregardless of some jerks that didn't even allow me to see him when they were truthfully informed, incl. that he couldn't communicate or appreciate otherwise. He no longer spoke \via phone, and mail sure doesnt cut it, no email, no computer there. In seeing my dad; I mean, isn't it midieval and uncivilized to say " No! no matter what, youre not entering, to hell w letting you two suffer in agony." What harm would I've caused condo. & the harm we got was permanently unspeakable, childish even.
& time issues2press charges against, ANY recourse, file claim on condo?Or should I just forget it? Thanks answers from personal|pros. Im looking justice, not ^ money...

Should the government regulate it, or should it be privatized?
Given to everyone for free and covered under taxes, or a separate thing to pay for?
Pros AND cons would be great.

Would it be right to kill him?

Would you be able to do it yourself? (assume physical strength is not a problem.)

By the way... when I say stabbing I mean stabbing and not shooting or poisoning (ie no clean way to kill someone).

a popular attraction at the world's exhibition was a sealed glass box containing 500.000 american one dollar bills. this was a fundraiser where for $10 a ticket a person could guess how many bills the box contained. at the end of the exhibition, when the seal was broken and the bills counted, there were only 470.000. sid shady was responsible for enclosing teh money. when questioned by shadow, shady said that he personally counted each bill by hand. "to be sure" he added "i counted them twice by hand during the two days before the box was sealed i could have been out 80 or 90 dollars, but not 30.000!" he protested. shadow insists shdy is lying. how can he be so sure?

We've had our phone number for 11 months. About 5 months ago started getting collection agency calls for someone we don't know. I've told the collection agency dozens of times that they have the wrong number and they promise to take us off their list. (Yeah right!) I finally had to file a complaint with the FTC, because they are calling at least 5 times a day and we don't even bother to answer our phone any more. My husband called the collection agency and told them what was going on and (AGAIN) asked them to stop harassing us. The person he talked to admitted that our phone number had been taken off the list multiple times, but was put back on. According to them, the debtor calls them every couple weeks to update his phone number and keeps giving them our number, so they keep putting it back on the list. There's a good chance the agency is lying, but if it is true, can we press charges or file a suit against the guy who is falsely using our number and causing continual harassment?

I have two kids by the same man. I have always had them other than an occasional weekend when I would let their dad have them. He has never paid child support although he was told to by the state. No job, does drugs, no house ect. But I have never filed for legal custody as he only calls about every six months so I wasn't worried. Well, the other day he showed up at my sons school and told him only a few more days and they would be together for good. So I am wondering what rights do I/He have? In Missouri by the way!!
