Actually, google does have services that host web sites - blogger.com being the best known of them.

They also cache a lot of information which could be construed as hosting in some sense.

Don't know if that is what the asker is referring to , but it could be that.

That being said, there are no laws against "dangerous
websites", not in this country anyway.

There are also not laws about "illegal web sites", although some web sites may have content that violates one statute or another. The site itself is not illegal though.

google is not your personal censor - your list might be different from my list. In fact, it will be because I insist on no list at all.

google photos and search does have some options on whether they should block some possibly objectionable sites, but they are not perfect.

If you want certain communications blocked from your computer(not only web sites) there is plenty of technology available for that, but most of it is so-so in quality and requires a lot of skill and diligence to manage properly.

Google does not "host" any websites. They simply match the search criteria that YOU enter, and point you in the right direction.

The responisbility lies on the person who created the website, not with the search engines.

That would be fascism.

Everything in this world should be available to everyone, if you dont like it, then dont look at it or use it, it is that simple.
